  We needed new pipes from inside our bedroom to out in the street (a lot if work!) but they got it done in 1 full work day! They were very polite, efficient, and unobtrusive even though there were a lot of moving parts. Josh was our point of contact and was very communicative in all that was going on and easy to talk to. They have actually been our plumber for years and we definitely would recommend them as an honest, fair and reliable company!

  I had to get my sewer lateral done since I had a cracked sewer line. Freddy and his team were excellent!! Got the job done in a day. Very happy with their work. Very nice and professional people. Would definitely recommend them!!

  Josh Gutierrez from Star Rooter & Plumbing Inc. of Hayward provided EXCELLENT service and communications. I went through 6 other bay area plumbing companies to replace a sewer lateral on a duplex. Three were small businesses and three were well known large plumbing companies. Two gave me outrageous estimates, one refunded my deposit and said it was too big of a job for him, and three disappeared before providing an estimate. Josh was the only one that said "we can do it, no worries; we will take care of you". He mapped out best case and worst case plans of action. He was in constant communication with me and other vendors he referred to get the job done with the best outcome! I've been in real estate and property management for 20+ years and Josh has been by far one of the few vendors that has provided exceptional service and communications from beginning to end. I will most definitely continue to use Josh and refer to others. - Sandra R.

  They arrived, listen to the issue, only team that would go down crawl space and attic to check and confirm and figure out what cause my leaking issue and not trying to get more business $$ and fix my leaking problem. Great experience with Joshua from Star Rooter. I’ll definitely be calling again for any future plumbing needs and would highly recommend them.

  We had Alex from Star Rooter & Plumbing come out and give us a free estimate. He and his team are the ONLY ones that had someone go all the way into the crawlspace and inspect the drain and pipes completely. And that was the FREE estimate. (We’ve had a few other companies out and most didn’t even peek into the crawlspace.) He also offered to send a camera down our clay pipe for free to assess any damage from our house all the way to the street. The inspection for our estimate was very thorough and included all of the issues I brought to his attention. Alex was patient and listened as I described the issues in my laymen’s terms. And was able to educate and suggest respectfully and in a way I understood. He gave us wonderful advice for our older home, wasn’t pushy about his plan but truly listened to our needs and hopes. The estimate was reasonable and fully encompassed our multifaceted project. He and the team helped reroute our dishwasher shut off valve, and was very careful with our cabinets and placed it with minimal upset to the cabinet’s function. The team replaced the entire cast iron drain from the kitchen to the bathrooms with new ABS pipe. And the team was able to adjust and fix the “stack” in the garage that fed and drained the washing machine and garage sink. They were kind enough to help me install a new sink and faucet so my garage set up is much more functional and looks amazing! I highly recommend Star Rooter and Plumbing. And am so grateful for their expertise and attention to my home.
