  This review is long over due... But every time it rains, I just cringe when I look at our back patio. I'm doing that very thing while I write this review... Looking at my patio covered in water, and my cat huddled in a corner freezing and trying to avoid the water. You know... The patio which is supposed to be covered by a leak proof awning? Here was our experience with this company... Initially met with the man in charge, Vern, after deciding we wanted our patio covered to keep our furniture dry, as well as our outdoor cat comfortable. On the day the awning was being constructed, Vern never came once to oversee the project, or to observe the completed work, which I found odd. After the first rain, it was quite obvious that this supposed leakproof awning, was riddled with leaking areas. When Vern came out to look at the issue, he passed the blame onto cracks in our stucco, and declared that was the root cause. He advised us to get our house painted, and was very sure that would fix the issue. So here we go shelling out thousands of dollars more to get our house painted, and guess what?... Awning still leaks. When the painter was out, he said it was quite obvious why it was leaking, as the awning was simply bolted to the side of our house, and there was nothing in between the awning and our house which would stop water from running through. When Vern came out again to assess the issue, he blamed it on the painter not doing a good enough job, and still refused to admit the awning construction had issues. He basically told me that the only thing he would or could do going forward would be to tear down the awning and refund our money. Since I didn't want to start all over again, I just kept things as they were and told myself I would just have to live with it. Now I think I should have made the other choice, as I've never been and will never be happy with this leaking awning. It's even made me not want to go outside and enjoy our beautiful backyard, because of what now I consider an eyesore. It's just such a shame. After reading other one-star reviews, I want to add that I too experienced the arrogance they described with Vern, and his insulting nature. He made us feel that our "small" job was insignificant and really not worth his time.... Perhaps that is why we didn't see him again until the leaking started.

  They’re the best start to finish. The owner ( Vernon )was great to communicate with and the installers were very professional !!

  Vern and his crew do phenomenal work. On time, on budget, quick, professional and friendly. Cannot recommend them enough for any patio cover. Here is a photo of what Vern and his crew installed yesterday

  Vern and the guys did a great job on my patio cover. Its been several years now and it is doing the job well. I do have a few words of advice though. I asked about an insulated roof and was told shade is shade. So, I opted for uninsulated roof, wish I didn’t! Uninsulated allows condensation on the ceiling to form in cold weather causing water to drip everywhere until its dry. I would recommend a insulated roof! Shade is shade and wet is wet! Overall, still very happy with the product and service.

  First I will say, Vern and his guys were awesome. Second, If your reading this, just stop and call Vern. He came highly recommended by people I trust and I'm so pleased with my interaction with them that I'm 1000 percent confident in recommending them to you. Vern showed up when he said he would(impressive because I live out in the sticks and no one else ever showed up on time). He was honest, fair and easy to talk to, with a great price. No BS up selling, no trying to get you to buy more then you want. I enjoyed the quote process with Vern. His crew showed up early, they worked hard the whole time they were installing. They were respectful professionals, the entire time. They finished the entire job ahead of schedule and cleaned everything up. They even laughed at my dumb jokes. I'm so pleased with this company. Call them.
