Had a team member respond to my request, and I sent my sdge data to them. Two weeks passed and I heard nothing back, I reached out and he said he had been ill but would be in contact soon. Another week went by and I reached out to baker directly, both through email and service request on their website. I’ve heard nothing back. Not sure if they are still in business at this point.

I called a week prior to ask for assistance rebooting my system. I had done it before and I knew it only took about 5 minutes at the most to be walked through the process. I was informed that now only telephone appointments were made and I could not talk to anyone until Wednesday the following week. The service rep was very rude but I made an appointment. I the called another company that was familiar with sunpower and they kindly walked me through the process and I reported it 10 minutes later. When I was called the following week I had forgotten I made the appointment. Once again the service rep was rude and informed me I should have informed them that someone else had helped me. The irony is that I am currently get ting quotes from baker to add back up batteries to my system. Their technicians are excellent and sale personnel are professional.....but do I want to go forward and order from a company where the front line service reps are rude and not helpful?

The reason I didn’t get Baker Home Energy.
A five is trying to get my final invoices, is like pulling teeth, I need this stuff for my taxes. It would be nice if I had a final invoice with all the payments that I made, the only thing I have is invoices that they sent me prior to installation
Then have to use my canceled checks, pre-invoices, and this is Important for Tax returns, It would be much more handy if I have all the information on one sheet and said that I paid, but so far I have seen nothing I will bump it up to a five if I get the information I need by the time taxes are done.

I initially chose Baker Home Energy because their sales team was very professional during the contract process, and I was especially interested in working with a company that presents itself as labor-friendly. Unfortunately, my experience after signing the contract was extremely disappointing.
Communication throughout the process was either very poor or completely nonexistent. I repeatedly had to reach out myself just to get updates or responses. Even getting the system connected took far longer than expected.
Now that the system has finally been turned on, I’m still waiting—over a month later—for someone to walk me through the app so I can actually understand how to monitor and use the system.
Overall, the lack of communication and follow-through made this a very frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to think carefully before contracting with Baker. The customer service has been extremely disappointing.

"It's not how you start, it's how you finish." And Baker Home Energy absolutely finished strong.
From my initial call to being connected with a home energy consultant, the team at Baker Home Energy was helpful, responsive, and professional. The process was smooth right from the beginning.
Once I connected with my consultant, Cameron, things truly became spectacular. I had multiple questions and requested several different quotes to explore my options, and Cameron handled everything with patience, clarity, and speed. Every question was answered thoroughly, and each quote was provided promptly without hesitation.
Although I didn't move forward with signing a contract due to timing on my end, the experience left a strong impression. When the time is right, I fully intend to work with Baker Home Energy because I know they'll be ready to do business.
