  We have used Modern for many years now. We find them hard working and professional. Office staff are pleasant and helpful on the phone, as are the field techs. We had two septic tanks that needed pumping and the cost was reasonable. And we will continue to use them. Thank you for a job well done Modern!

  Arrived on time, located septic, and pumped septic. Danny was very professional and friendly. Excellent service! We have used Modern Septic before (and they did the initial connection when we built our house in 2005). We will definitely use them again.

  Messaged Modern Septic on a Sunday evening and they had me scheduled for a tank pump out on Tuesday morning. Danny was prompt, polite, and his professionalism is exceptional. He was a pleasure to talk with. Danny took time to explain the process and share his knowledge. My experience with Modern Septic has been outstanding.

  Danny Cruz. Modern Septic Srevice Specialist pumped out our septic tanks at 3 of our rental properties. Two of the locations needed vegetation over growth covering the tank openings. Danny arrive on time and in short order located the tanks, cleared the plant growth, uncovered the dirt over the lids, and pumped the tanks. He reported that the effluent in the tanks were all within expected levels and no pro lems with the system were apparent. We were glad to hear that and appreciate Danny's courtesy and professionalism. Rick Hopkins

  Modern Septic Service of El Cajon, CA, was recommended by my property management company to clean out my septic tank in 2024. From the first phone call, Thomas, the owner, impressed me as friendly and eager to help, and was willing to give my neighbor and I a discount for draining both our tanks at the same time. He sent 2 employees to dig out the 3 entries to the tank and empty the tank. Everyone was very professional and demonstrated an eagerness to do the work. I was disgusted by years of paying extra to have the digging done, with occasional misunderstandings about what workers were looking for. I had heard of risers, which eliminate the search for the entry points because the caps can be seen from the surface but can be easily covered by plants. Thomas and his team got the work done at a fair price at the time with little delay. I definitely recommend him!
