When a homeowner has a "No Soliciting" sign right above the doorbell, it matters not whether you are "selling" at the door (as your door to door salesman stated he was not, so not soliciting in his mind), you are soliciting none the less. When the homeowner opens with "No thank you, not interested" and you continue to spout, you're wrong. Quality Home Improvement needs to have their salesmen respect signage.

Mike, the door guy, is fantastic. The company keeps him busy, so it took a long minute to get on his schedule, but the work here wasn't urgent, and he was worth the wait. We needed some weatherizing trim replaced on a new door. He was flexible and considerate about changing to an afternoon arrival when he learned that I work nights. (Didn't seem that the project manager had shared this info.) Mike showed up on time, was polite, respectful, a pleasure to interact with, and he was extremely efficient. He not only removed the door and replaced the weather strip in no time flat, but he also fixed an annoying squeak that I hadn't even thought to mention to anyone! He didn't ask about it, wasn't told about it, but noticed the problem and fixed it!! ❤️ I wish all service providers cared as much. Mike, specifically, deserves an A+ for his service. 10/10 would use again and recommend based on this experience.

The person canvassing had me speak to the manager about an admittedly small project that I needed done. Im not upset that they wouldn't take on the project, but the manager was extremely rude to me over the phone when I explained what I needed done and made it abrasively clear that they would not help me unless I bought an entire new roof. One top of this, someone must have written in their notes that I needed a new roof anyway, and now I get spam calls every week about the new roof I've been clear that I don't need. I haven't gotten them to do any work for me, but due to my experience, I never will. Edit: This company has horrible internal communication. I've explained my situation to probably 5 seperate people at this point and told each of them I'd like the calls to stop. Yet, they still call me every single weekday to ask me about the new roof I have been abundantly clear I don't need. I am starting to be rude to the callers, which is something im not happy to do, but the calls won't stop no matter what I do.

This is the second time I have done a home project with Quality First. Both times I have been very happy with the whole process. Colin was the sales person for the insulation I just had installed in my attic. He was courteous, had good knowledge of the product and the procedure. The workers arrived on time and were very professional and got the job done quickly and very neatly. Colin came by shortly afterwards to see if everything had been done to my satisfaction, showing me pictures of my attic and the new insulation. I definitely would recommend Quality 1st!
