I purchased quartz from Dave’s Tile City on May 15, 2024 and was given granite instead. When I returned with photos showing the quartz I had selected, the owner refused to speak with me and only let me deal with a worker. To meet a construction deadline, I was forced to pay again on June 18, 2024 for the same quartz I had originally purchased.
The company later claimed they had “credited” the first purchase by discounting the second invoice, but that was never agreed to and I never received my original $1,638.16 back. In the end, I paid twice for the same quartz.
Beyond the money, the experience was stressful, cost me extra time and labor, and the owner has remained unwilling to take responsibility or even communicate directly.
I would strongly caution anyone considering this business - in my experience, they delivered the wrong product, refused to resolve it fairly, and left me to absorb the loss.
