I can’t say enough great things about Most Valuable Plumber! Paul Gonzales and his entire team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I called them on a Saturday to check out a clogged kitchen sink at my home in Newbury Park, and after a thorough inspection, they discovered the real issue was a failed sewer line under the house.
This was a major and messy job, but they handled it with total professionalism. They completed a full sewer line repipe in just two days, which was incredibly impressive. The team was efficient, respectful, and clearly experienced.
If you’re looking for reliable and skilled plumbers who go above and beyond, I highly recommend them. Thanks again, Paul and team!

Adam came out today to replace a pressure reduction valve. He quoted me $1150 to replace a $300 part and then was condescending and disrespectful when I asked him to clarify how he came up with $900 in labor for what should take thirty minutes. In the end I had to ask him to demand he leave my property only for him to sat in the van blocking my drive way for another twenty minutes.
I ended up finding a different company who showed up and did the job for $650 in 20 minutes.
Really disappointing because last time they were fantastic.

We contacted Most Valuable Plumber to unplug a toilet. Paul Gonzales arrived on time as scheduled. In unplugging the toilet, Paul took further steps to find and correct the issue using a camera in the sewer line. Paul found a deteriorating sewer line that was 70 years old. After agreeing on the price, a complete replacement took place from under the home to outside property/city line. Paul and the crew were very respectful of the property and did an outstanding job. We would hire MVP again and recommend MVP for any plumbing issues.

Be careful with these guys! My house in Tarzana recently had an outdoor pipe burst while I was away traveling. Two major issues with this company which is why I'm taking the time to write this so others can be aware. This happened around 10pm at night so it was dark. My father couldn't figure out how to shut off the valve to the outdoor pipes. My house has two valves for inside and outside. So he got on google and started calling plumbers and found MVP. The ONLY good thing about this company was that they did send someone fairly quickly. The plumber arrived and turned off the outdoor valve. He then wrote up an repair for $700 to fix the broken pipe. The FIRST big issue was when he left, the indoor water was also turned off. The next day I called the company and asked to speak with the plumber, Michael. He said when he arrived one of the valves was already turned off when he arrived but he couldn't tell me which valve he turned off. I'm guessing my father, in his panic to shut off the water only turned off the inside water. This plumber, being a "professional", should have said, hey I see you turned off both valves, you no longer will have water inside the house. He should have turned that inside back on to see if it would effect the leaks. So because he didn't do this, the next day my father had to go back to the house and over Facetime I had to guide him to turn the inside water back on. He then verified the broken pipes weren't leaking. This is something the plumber should have done, especially if I'm paying $150. The SECOND big issue with this company was the quote Michael provided. When I asked him about it and how he got to $700 he told me the sprinkler valve needs to be replaced and the part is $200. It's not. They're about $70 as I've replaced many of them over the years. He was trying to use fear mongering of the bursted pipes for me to act on this and ok the project. I told him no thanks. I called my usual plumber and he went the same day and fixed it for $340. Never needed to change any sprinkler valves. So really be careful with these guys...you'll pay more and not get great service...but they will send someone quick!
