  I've been with the company since 2000. I started to notice their service was going downhill about 15 years but I stayed with them. You can get sort of tied up with a company. I bought a $20k heap pump from them this last March. The installers forgot to charge the condenser so my summer DWP bill was 40% more in kwh, 532 kwh. That cost hundreds. No apology. The owner seems too close to retirement to care anymore. They must have done something when they reinstalled the ducting. Now a b.r 14.5 feet away from the l.r has a 10 degree difference. The air coming out is cold but it barely comes out. My adult daughter has been in the room for 2 years. On a day with a high of 88, her room was 84. The living room was 74. The tech, Curtis argued the system is working perfect and that she must have not noticed the difference before. That's trying to GASLIGHT us. Please don't make the same mistake I made.   I'm pretty blown away right now. We've been clients of this company for eight years paid a lot of money into them a lot of wonderful service people and today when we absolutely needed them very badly we waited two days because they said they were so busy for somebody to come out, the guy came out was incredibly rude. Left a mess on the side of our house with no solution no timeframe for fixing and walked out in such a rude way I am just beside myself

  We needed pricy repair on our 21-year-old AC. I had done some research on heat pumps and was interested in converting to that for HVAC, but I wanted more information before commiting. We also had some interest in rooftop solar, but had decided against previous proposals. Mike at Mediterranean was able to give me the info I wanted on heat pumps, and also explained how the two systems could work together to benefit us. I did some more research and a little applied math, and found that he was making perfect sense. Mike's prices, while not cheap, were competitive for the quality components he was offering. We chose his company for both systems, and he designed them to work together. Five months later, after using the system through a variety of weather, we are very happy with the results. The system is unobtrusive, works quietly, and is more comfortable than the hot or cold blasts of the old system. And our energy bills have been reduced even more than I had expected. 04/11/2024: It's now more than two Years that we have been using our Heat pump system and the roof-top solar system from Mediterranean, and our satisfaction has only increased. Twice we have had minor issues with the solar system, and both times they have had an expert here and the issue resolved promptly. There have been zero issues of any kind with the heat pump HVAC system, and our savings in utility bills have exceeded my expectations. I continue to feel that we made an excellent choice in contracting with Mediterranean.

  We purchased an older home that had a recently installed HVAC system that was at the lowest end of quality. Mediterranean has been servicing that system since we moved in 5 years ago and have kept in excellent running condition. They also installed a solar system for us that has reduced our electric bills to about $15 a year. We can't say enough good things about this company, their servicemen, and solar installers! When the A/C went out a couple of months ago, we had someone at our house that afternoon who got it working again in minutes without further problem. Everyone at that company is professional, knowledgeable and well-trained, friendly, and a pleasure to do business with. Ginny W.
