  Harjotan was very personable and professional, he observed that I was using oxygen due to COPD and suggested that we get an air purifier/ cleaner attached to our HVAC system.   If you are considering using Environmental Heating and Air Solutions (EHA Solutions)—even through the Costco program—please read this first and look elsewhere. We paid over $36,000 for a flagship Lennox Signature Series heat pump system, and the entire experience has been an absolute nightmare of safety violations, incompetence, and broken contracts. Here are the documented facts of our installation: 1. Safety Hazards & Property Damage During the install, the crew disconnected our gas line during unistall of our gas furnace without shutting off the main valve, causing gas to leak into our home on two separate occasions. They also haphazardly stored heavy, explosive oxygen tanks and oil inside our plastic deck box, permanently deforming and damaging our property and creating fire hazard. 2. Immediate System Failures & "Vaporware" Fixes Within the first 24 hours, the system suffered critical electrical shutdowns, throwing "Inverter DC Peak Faults" and shutting off our heat every morning. The system's own diagnostic panel showed impossible voltage spikes (550V) and 0.0 subcooling (wrong refrigerant readings). Instead of fixing it, EHA technicians repeatedly dismissed these hard mechanical failures as mere "display glitches." We later found out from Lennox engineering that the inverter error is a known defect with no current fix other than a theoretical future software update. 3. Unauthorized Modifications & Broken Zoning EHA breached our contract. They certified our existing ductwork as "adequate" in writing, but then performed unapproved structural modifications to our ducts without a signed Change Order. As a result, they completely broke our zoning system. 4. Severe Compressor Vibration and Unprofessionalism They mounted our variable-capacity outdoor unit on a field-fabricated, angle-iron stand, creating a severe harmonic vibration that wakes us up in the middle of the night. When they came back to "fix" it, they wedged isolation pads under the connection brackets without our permission or awareness, making the noise even worse. To top it off, during an onsite visit, the Lennox field technician was confrontational and actually told us directly that he would never replace his own gas furnace with a heat pump—a stunning admission about the very product they just sold us. We have officially demanded a full removal of the equipment and a full refund through Costco, and we are escalating this to the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Do not trust this company with your home, your safety, or your money.

  After years of confusion and a new system installed by Environmental, we may have finally seen a tech who knows what he's doing and understands the system and its failures. Kevin is terrific and after some time passes, we'll know if we finally have the system we paid for and were promise almost five years ago.
