Sasquatch Heat Pumps is proudly based in Sooke, BC, serving Vancouver Island with professional heat pump installation and service, plus HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work. We install everything from ductless mini-splits to fully ducted heat pump systems, completed by certified refrigeration technicians and electricians. We pull electrical permits for every new installation, and every quote is clear and guaranteed upfront — no hidden fees, no surprises.
This was our first time buying a heat pump and using Sasquatch and we couldn’t be happier. Lucas was our consultant who was extremely knowledgeable and made the process easy. He grasped what we needed and provided an excellent selection of configuration options to us in a manner we could understand best.
We chose the 5 zone 3 ton whole home balance option with Nav and Jordan assigned to install over 3 days during the week after our consult. Both of them always had time to answer our questions, explain the process and provide regular updates on the job progress and projected completion. Nav and Jordan were very punctual and worked tirelessly to complete the job ahead of schedule.
Aaron was the electrician who was very efficient. After a quick orientation of our electrical system, he explained his plan, ensured we were happy, and executed it quickly and the result was quite esthetically pleasing.
We highly recommend Sasquatch and if you happen to have Nav, Jordan, Aaron or Lucas provide services, we’re sure you’ll be quite happy.

On May 1st Michael Chiaradia and Aaron from Sasquatch Heat Pumps came to diagnose why my dryer stops running after 2 minutes. They discovered that a load miser used to run the dryer during a power outage was faulty. We discussed options and using the dryer during a power outage is not important to me so the load miser was bypassed from the whole house generator system. Problem solved, thank you Michael and Aaron for your prompt service, knowledge, and for finding a solution for a problem that will not happen again. I highly recommend Sasquatch Heat Pumps, over the past few years they have always provided excellent service. Sandy Gibson

Highly recommend for HVAC and even electrical needs! Admin team was super quick to respond, super easy to communicate via email, text and phone calls. Dave came and gave us a quote on different setups we can have on adding a heat pump. Explained everything well and followed up all my extra questions. They were able to work around my schedule and got the new heat pump system installed within days of signing our quote. Technicians did a great job and made sure all my questions were answered. Thank you!!

Ryan did a wonderful job. He came to do maintenance on my heat pumps which was great, and mentioned he could look at our boiler which we also use and the hot water tank, and he also looked at the water purification system, and will come again to do a few other things. It is so much easier to have one person look at numerous areas. Many thanks
