  Landlord hired company for commercial unit. Multiple people in site for replacing some pipes. Put shutoff so close to drainpipe you cant turn it. several questionable choices.

  We recently purchased a home and had originally used another company for the septic inspection during the purchase process. That inspector was qualified and held PL (Planner) and IN (Installer) certifications for onsite wastewater systems, but after later working with Terry Kelloway from Roto-Rooter VI, it became very obvious there are different levels of expertise in this industry. Terry holds ASTTBC Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner certifications including PL (Planner), IN (Installer), MP (Maintenance Provider), and PIR (Private Inspector). The additional certifications and experience really showed in the level of detail and understanding he brought to our property. Rather than simply looking over the system, Terry pulled the engineered drawings and records so he could fully understand what the system was actually designed to do. He immediately recognized the type of septic field system we had, knew the history behind these designs, understood the common future problems associated with them, and explained everything in a way that helped me actually understand and feel comfortable operating the system myself moving forward. By the time he left, I felt far more informed and confident about our septic system than I did after the original home inspection. My only regret is not having Terry involved during the original purchase inspection process. Taylor, Terry’s son, was also excellent to deal with - professional, communicative, and genuinely cared about customer service. You can tell this is a family-run business that values people and relationships. I originally assumed Roto-Rooter was just another franchise operation, but Terry and Taylor operate it with a true family-business approach that builds trust immediately. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter VI to anyone needing septic inspections, maintenance, or wastewater expertise.
