  Today we had our carpets cleaned. A small job for sure but a pleasure to have a very nice young man join us. Just 19 but had the manners of someone very much older! Great work ethic! He deserves a raise!! Hint...his name starts with a T!

  Awful experience. Slow with every step, communication is poor, timelines keep changing, and somehow the customer gets blamed every time. I understand that restoration projects can be unpredictable, but what they say and what they actually do just don't line up. It's been three weeks since the water damage happened and they still haven't even started the restoration. They're still cutting things out and tearing things apart, even though there was no asbestos. It also took them this long to do the mandatory "biowash" because of possible contamination. The project manager, BRAD MCCALLUM, is very dismissive and unhelpful. When I asked why we were told it was safe to keep living in the house and using the bathroom if there were concerns about contamination, his response was, "I don't tell people where they should live." They cut out maybe 10–15% of the carpet but now want to replace carpet throughout the house, far from where the water damage actually happened. To me, that seems completely excessive and more like an insurance scam. They removed a chunk of the drywall and only sent someone to cover it up with polythene for privacy after I called. They also removed our bathroom sink two days earlier than scheduled because they said "the plumber won't have enough time" on the planned day—even though we were leaving the house and the plumber had more than 48 hours to do the work. They did some work while I was away and left the bathroom in even worse shape, with bigger holes in the walls and no attempt to cover anything back up with plastic this time either. They could have, but they only do it after you beg them to. The people actually doing the work have all been friendly and respectful, but most of the time they seem to have no idea what's happening with the overall project or what the next steps are. If you read through the one-star reviews, there seems to be a pattern. Every complaint is met with an excuse instead of taking responsibility. Choose another company if you can!

  While driving home, had one of ServiceMaster's vehicles driving unsafely. They were speeding at over 115km/h in a 90km/h zone, fail to use their turn singles when changing lanes, and while turning left; all can be seen in the videos.
