Today I stopped in to request a few tile samples for my full house renovation. I explained the need to keep the samples a number of weeks and said I'd be happy to pay for them. Because I had been in the store several times previously and spoke to a different employee (also researching flooring), the employee today refused to help me request the tile samples I wanted despite the fact that no other customers were present and he was doing nothing. Nevermind that I took time out of my busy day to come into the store for help. He said I had to email the guy I talked to previously with what I wanted. How is that efficient when I'm right there, organised with what I need and the employee working is not busy but unwilling to help. Not at all happy being treated that way. If I'm going to the effort of photographing and emailing attachments, I'll just get my samples directly from the supplier or another store willing to serve me. What's the point in having a store front if you don't help customers who come in?

when I first went in my salesman was quite easy to deal with, helped me find a nice rug and when I agreed on a product he told me it would take a couple weeks to get it installed. that worked as I had a family event and it should have been installed by then. the company then takes a huge deposit, almost the entire amount and you wait. 3 weeks later it was almost time for everyone to come to my house and I had not heard from my salesman so then I called a few times trying to reach him. it took a couple messages but when I reached him and asked for an install date I was then told that the rug was not in stock and had been backordered. this was news to me as no one called. I asked for a different product so I could have it in time but he just said not possible and did not seem to care. I phoned again a week later and he booked it for another 10 days down the road. I asked if he could do it sooner and was told no, i asked if i could cancel the order and was told yes but they keep all the money. after you pay the deposit all customer service and interest in customer satisfaction is long gone
