  During my recent deck rebuild and expansion project, I had occasion to contact Sunbelt Rentals' Armstrong, BC, location to inquire about renting a heavy-duty floor sander, to use for finishing the deck's fir flooring boards. In speaking with Cord, I learned that Sunbelt could provide a reciprocating unit complete with a functional dust collection system that sounded perfect for the job at hand. Cord prepared a Rental Agreement and I scheduled pick-up for the following day. When I reached Sunbelt's shop, I was immediately impressed by how clean and organized the showroom looked. All of the visible rental equipment was clean and obviously very well maintained. Duncan had my agreement at hand and asked me about the size and scope of the project I had in mind for the sander. After a brief discussion, he recommended the number and grade of the sandpaper sheets that I should expect to use along with a replacement filter pad, explained the workings of the sander, then directed young Kaleb to carefully load the machine into my truck. The sander worked flawlessly, was easy to control and manage, leaving a smooth, even finish from the 60 grit paper that polished-up beautifully with the finer 80 grit sheets. The real bonus for me was that the job was completed and the rental machine returned in half the time I had allotted. Upon my arrival back at Sunbelt's shop, Kaleb was there immediately to happily unload the heavy sander while I cleared my invoice with Duncan. In closing, let me say that the equipment, the helpful staff and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Armstrong's Sunbelt Rentals' service and will certainly not hesitate to contact them going forward for ALL of my equipment rental needs.

  Absolutely fantastic service. We had an out of our emergency and the manager went out of his way to help us and then proceeded to not charge us because of the nature of the emergency. Very human and really lovely people. Would recommend and come back here again in an absolute heartbeat.

  Deep respect for the company and their community values. When they discovered why the CFIA rented their equipment, they immediately removed their equipment and made a massive impact on the right side of history.
