Our well pump stopped working. J&J was recommended by a friend. Gave them a call. They showed up within an hour. Diagnosed the problem. Explained it clearly. Fixed it. All in same day. Our water works better than ever now. Great work. My friend was right. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I would not recommend JNJ Pumps.
They came out to my property and charged $400 but did not fix the problem. They said the problem was due to a PG&E power surge. Just two days later the same issue returned. When I called the company, they told me they would charge another service fee just to come back out, and with no guarantee of fixing it. Which is not what they told me when they came out. They also told me I needed other parts, that was not part of the reason I had no water. They were supposed to send me a quote. Never received it.
When I asked the technician what they could do about the situation since the problem clearly wasn’t fixed, his response was “find another company.” So that is exactly what I did.
The experience felt very unprofessional and disappointing. I can’t help but worry about how situations like this might affect senior customers who could easily be taken advantage of with repeated service charges.
Based on my experience, I would not use or recommend this company.
3/16/26 My response to company response. Of course they would say they cannot find me in their system. Which you reply to every bad review left on your site. Had no problem taking my money. You know good and well who I am. You guys are the biggest crooks. I will make sure everyone in town knows it.

J&J Pumps has always been there for both my home and business for over 25 years, their technicians are highly trained and knowledgeable, the pricing is fair and right on mark, I would highly recommend them for all your water well and pump needs.
Most well pumps last 6-10 years or more, depending on water quality, usage, and maintenance. We provide well pump replacement and installation services when your pump reaches the end of its lifespan.
What causes low water pressure in a well system?
Possible causes include a failing pump, clogged pipes, a waterlogged pressure tank, or a malfunctioning pressure switch. We offer comprehensive diagnostics and repair services to address low water pressure issues.
Can I install a well pump myself?
It's not recommended. Well pump installation requires specialized knowledge and equipment. We provide professional well pump installation services to ensure proper setup and functioning.
What's the difference between a jet pump and a submersible pump?
Jet pumps are located above ground, while submersible pumps are installed inside the well itself. We offer both jet pump and submersible pump installation and maintenance services, tailored to your specific well system.
What should I do if my well runs dry?
Contact a well professional immediately. It's often not due to the well running dry but could involve a worn or damaged pump, clogs, or a pipe issue. We offer emergency well services, including pump diagnostics, lowering, and replacement.
What's a constant pressure system?
It's a system that maintains consistent water pressure regardless of how many fixtures are in use. We offer constant pressure system installation and maintenance services for improved water pressure consistency
What's a variable speed pump?
It's a pump that adjusts its speed based on water demand, improving efficiency and providing consistent pressure. We provide variable speed pump installation and maintenance for energy-saving performance.
How do I know if I need a new well?
Signs include persistent water quality issues, insufficient water supply, or a well that's past its expected lifespan (usually 30-50 years). We provide well assessment services and can recommend pump replacement or a new well if needed.
How do I know if my pressure tank bladder has failed?
Signs include rapid pump cycling, water from the air fill valve, or the tank feeling heavy. We provide pressure tank inspections and pump performance diagnostics to identify and resolve system issues.
How often should I replace my well's pressure tank?
Pressure tanks typically last 8-15 years. Replacement may be needed sooner if they develop leaks or lose pressure. We offer inspection, maintenance, and replacement services for pressure tanks and related pump systems.
What is the typical lifespan of a well pump and do you provide replacement services?
Most well pumps last 6-10 years or more depending on usage and maintenance. We provide well pump replacement and installation services when needed.
What are common causes of low water pressure in a well system?
Low water pressure can be caused by a failing pump, clogged pipes, a waterlogged pressure tank, or a faulty pressure switch. We offer diagnostics and repair services to fix these issues.
Can customers install a well pump by themselves?
Installation requires specialized knowledge and equipment, so it's not recommended to do it yourself. Our professional installation services ensure proper setup and function.
What is the difference between a jet pump and a submersible pump?
Jet pumps are above ground; submersible pumps are installed inside the well. We install and maintain both types tailored to your well system.
What should I do if my well runs dry or I experience sudden water issues?
Contact a well professional immediately. Issues are often due to pump or pipe problems rather than the well itself. We offer emergency diagnostics, lowering, and replacement services.
