  Don't get me wrong Barker and sons are probably the same price or less than any other plumbing companies. I ended up finding the problem myself digging out the front yard to expose the broken pipe and so the technician didn't have to dig to find the problem. I was a little puzzled by the configuration of the fix that the technician came up with as it wasn't the same routing as the old section that was replaced. Instead of two 90° bends the technician configured it in such a way to have four 90° bends which seemed odd and actually was more work. The section of the old pipe coming out of the water meter box was secured with concrete along the edge of the box that was not part of the solution to make it exactly like it was before. I believe the cement should have been added to the the area of the box where the pipe pipe exits the one side of the water meter box. That cement added is likely there to secure the pipe so that if any work is done on the meter itself it's not going to turn the pipe outside of the water meter box. So I think the little bit of concrete should have been added in order to secure. In my view, price was quite high for the work involved of $1,000 to fix a broken pipe in the ground that wasn't too difficult. I wish I had done it myself to save about $900 in labor and only have to buy about $100 or less in parts including the concrete.

  Alex was incredible to work with. He installed our new toilet and fixed our garbage disposal, and the entire experience was smooth from start to finish. He was courteous, kind, and truly knowledgeable. He took his time answering all of our questions, explained everything clearly, and even walked us through potential issues we might notice in the future so we’d feel prepared.   Water Softener + Conditioner Installation Cory and Jesse were great!! I had a tankless water heater, and the heater treater scale protection filter started leaking. Cory initially came and inspected it, I decided to upgrade the whole house water system with the water softener and conditioner. Cory was very knowledgeable and offered great price, was very responsive, flexible and quick to schedule. Want to give a shoutout to the entire staff at Barker and Sons, i contacted various plumbing companies and got different quotes. Barker and Sons not only offer great price, they are long standing reputable family, from every point of interactions even the initial calls, you can tell the difference and they really care about customer experience and satisfaction, and stand behind their service. On installation day, Cory and Jesse did a super swift and thorough job. Installed the water softener and descaled the water heater and unclog the drains in my bathroom too. Want to give special shoutout to Cory, for going above and beyond, after they left, my recirculation pump started leaking for some reason, it may or may not even be related, Cory returned the same day and worked late into the night to ensure it’s not leaking. Really demonstrated high level of professionalism and high standard of excellence, not taking short cuts and making sure the job is well done!

  A late evening Friday night plumbing emergency and a panic call for service. Josh (Service person) was here within 30 minutes. He was the most polite and nicest person imaginable. Our house has some modern plumbing and some original 1932 piping which can be quite the challenge but easily solved and repaired by Josh. Yay. He was so pleasant to work with we all wished he could join our Friday dinner party!!!

  Yesterday, we realized that we needed assistance as soon as possible with our plumbing issues & they were able to get someone out to us the very next day. We got new pipes for our sink, a new garbage disposal and new water lines to hook up to our new fridge. We can now enjoy ice & filtered water from the fridge! Our plumber, Chris D., was early, kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything before he completed the work & while he was working. Chris was very thorough, answering all of our questions & was super patient with us. He was very professional & did a great job. Thanks to Chris, we will definitely utilize Barker & Sons Plumbing again! I will absolutely request Chris for future issues. I highly recommend them to anyone having plumbing issues.
