  Mr Chris DeShields with Barker and Sons is a very knowledgeable and informative person who was kind enough to share his wisdom with me during his visit for a leaky toilet situation I had. From following up after my initial phone call to confirm their technician was on the way to breaking down the costs for the suggested/required services, Chris and crew get five stars from me. I would definitely recommend their services if you're ever in a plumbing jam. Honesty goes far with me and I truly felt I wasn't getting taken for a ride. Being that I'm a first time home owner and have no experience to refer back to that is something I'm always weary about, so thanks for the honest service Barley and Sons, you've won my business haha 😀.

  We had a sewer smell coming from one of our bathrooms. They sent someone out the same day and did a thorough investigation to determine the cause. This included checking all plumbing under the house and going on the roof to check the vent. They determined it was due to a lack of p trap for the tub. This required a complete redo of the tub drain which included a new stopper for the tub. They were planning on replacing the current oil rubbed bronze one with a chrome one which we did not want. Peter Diaz went out of his way to locate one in oil rubbed bronze and had it for the next day's installation. They also cleared several drains and replaced some old shut off valves. The workers were very polite and respectful, in addition to doing a thorough cleanup when done. We highly recommend them.

  Technicians Oscar and Tristan were over the top professional. I notice they take pride in there work. Thinking simple drain clogging lead to more work but they worked in rain, digging up the yard, on the roof top to get the camera to see the blockage that was caused by my tree roots. Extremely happy, showed up short notice on Sunday. I had an appointment from that large company Mike Diamond but at the last moment they called to cancel. End of the Christmas break my girls needed to showers to attend school in the morning. And the price for the work was well worth it. I would recommend to all OC residents, if I had two more hands it would be 4 thumbs up.

  Banning, Tristan, and Peter are experts in their field. Customer service was off the charts fantastic. You could tell that this group of highly trained professionals wasn’t just here to do the job for today. They were here to build a real business relationship and they were 100% successful at that. In addition their pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the high level of excellence that they bring to the table. I’m a real estate agent and I will be using Barker & Sons for all my plumbing needs from this point on. Today I had a clogged kitchen drain pipe snaked, and filmed w drain camera. I then had them assess the main sewer line. When Banning arrived, he professionally broke down the detailed steps in their process, got my approval on the plan and went to work. Bringing booties to work on a rainy day was a great touch. Laid down his workman’s Matt and taped off plastic to keep my cabinet under the sink perfectly clean. This was a dirty job, he drained the contents of the sink and snaked the kitchen line that had a w LOT of build up in the pipes. He repaired the problem swiftly and everything in my kitchen is perfectly clean. Once the rest of the team arrived, Peter and Tristan, we had a quick intro chat and you could tell the camera service was meant not only to insure that the current repair was completed correctly, but also to make sure there were no other potential issues ahead. Both Peter and Tristan brought the same level of professionalism, knowledge and excellence of workmanship to their assessments. They camera’d the kitchen and mainline of the 8 unit apartment complex I manage. They provided real solutions, and real clarity as to the condition of our 8 unit apartment building. They went the extra mile to provide clear direction, and put a lot of my concerns to rest by giving me a real time picture of the current condition of the plumbing of our building, and we created a plan to work on each of these issues over time. Peter, Banning, and Tristan operated ethically, with real integrity, the highest professionalism, and excellence of workmanship. And more than that, excellence of character. I am very impressed by this team. And I will be using them from this point forwards for all of my plumbing needs. I truly could not be happier with the service provided today. If there was 10 stars I’d be marking that because this team went above and beyond today. Very very impressive.

  I was having an issue with my backflow prevention water system where the flapper was loose so it was clogging my pipes. Before contacting Baker, I had two other plumbing companies stop by and tell me that I had to replace my entire system for thousands of dollars because they claimed that there was absolutely no way to reattach the flapper they claimed was broken. I’m so glad I decided to contact Baker last night for another opinion, because it saved me literally thousands of dollars. Tanner and Joe showed up to my house in the morning, and were able to quickly diagnose the issue, and it turns out that the flapper wasn’t broken, it just needed to be reattached. Although they work in indoor plumbing, they were able to quickly service my issue, and just to be absolutely certain that there would be no future issues, they sent a second dispatcher (Luke) who specializes in outdoor plumbing and he showed up to my house a few hours later to double check that everything was secured properly. As another precaution, he went the extra mile to double check that all my pipes were clear using camera. I’ve had only a few plumbing issues in the past, but this is the first time that I’ve met a company that is truly so outstanding and honest, that I am definitely going to be a loyal Baker customer for all my future plumbing. At no point did I feel like they were trying to upsell me a service that I didn’t need and in fact, they didn’t end up charging me today at all for anything after telling them of my negative experiences with two other reputable plumbing companies. They truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful to have finally found an honest plumbing company that I can rely on.
