  Adam let me know when he would be able to come and showed up a few minutes early which was great. He gave me a couple options and once I decided he did the work quickly and correctly and cleaned up. He was friendly and had everything he needed with him.

  Brad came to fix my a/c unit and I must say he is absolutely the nicest technician I ever have met. He went out of his way to help me with problems I was having with my banking. I will always use this company if needed.

  Would leave a zero if I could, paid for a diagnostic. And they didn't even remove the coil evap cover to search for leaks, tried to charge my for an upgrade coil while I still had warranty, $4000 for the upgrade plus install and recharge. Two other company's found the coil wasn't failed and the nut Ferrel was loose. Marvelous installed this coil in 2022 and didn't even do their dilligence to test and check for leaks before completion, Medicine Hat Refrigeration patched me up for less than $800. It would not have costed me anything four years later if they had just double checked their work. Oh well. Lesson learned!

  They're very polite and appears to be nice but a little bit of research will make you see clearly they’re extremely overpriced, will make you pay for services you don’t need. I had them conduct a health and diagnostic check for my A/C unit at $102. They discovered a problem that would require changing the evaporator at the least and they charged over $3800. I agreed to this price only for them to insist on conducting another diagnostic leak search at another exorbitant cost at my expense. Mind you, they were only going to give a 5 year warranty coverage for the job. At this point, we mutually terminated our relationship. I swiftly moved on to another company who addressed the matter in less than a week. From diagnosis to labor, replacement of a brand new evaporator and a ten year warranty coverage only cost me $1000. So sad to know how much I could have lost doing business with them…

  It took me a long time to decide to write a review because Marvelous Plumbing has a history of arguing with the people that write bad reviews. But 3 years later, I've decided to share some of story. Marvelous told me I needed a new sewer line. I had a salesman type technician come into my home and quote me 20k to replace the sewer line, the water line, and re-sod my lawn. Then he also promised to replace the main stack, fix a plumbing issue with my laundry and install a toilet all included in the price. As time went on with the repair, I was being told by another technician that what I was promised costed more than I was quoted. Long story short, they replaced my sewer line up to my main stack, my water line, installed the toilet and fixed the laundry issue for 20k. Then they wanted another 5k to replace my main stack and told me they couldn't do the branch of my sewer line because it would be another 10k. They also didn't sod my lawn. All this to say, they DIDN'T fix the issue I called them for in the first place (which was water rising up out of my floor drain when washing clothes and using my kitchen sink). Turns out they didn't even run a camera through my branch to check that line or else they would have seen all it needed was to be cleaned out. THEN, 1 YEAR later they contact me to tell me they need to send the city out to inspect their work. How are you going to inspect a sewer line that's underground now? I've learnt a few things since this experience. Marvelous are COMMISSION based so they will tell you need things you don't need in order to take home some extra buck. And to always get 3 opinions from anyone before you say yes to their quote. Marvelous has does this same thing to 3 people I know, telling them they need new A/C units, or new furnaces and then some other company comes and says they actually don't, they just need to be fixed. If you start talking to other respectable companies in the city, they will also warn you about Marvelous Plumbing. Let's say I've learnt my lesson. Marvelous Plumbing in my opinion is a scam. And I sincerely hope this catches up to them, either via karma or a collective lawsuit. Oh and Marvelous Plumbing is owned by Charlton and Hill. So don't trust either of them.
