  After the 2024 hailstorm event, several contractors knocked on our door offering to repair our home including upgrading our vinyl siding to James Hardie Board, but none were preferred contractors with James Hardie. After reviewing several options, we chose SIS Exteriors, a preferred contractor, and we are so happy we did. The process took longer than we had anticipated but the wait was well worth it. We were given help with design, a walk through and an on-site inspection of the material even before the crew arrived. When it was time for the installation, we were treated with a dedicated and hardworking crew led by Eric. After removing the vinyl siding, the crew checked for mold and installed a weather barrier membrane before installing the new board. Eric’s attention to detail was impressive including the work in our screened enclosure, which involved removing and re-installing glass panels and rails. The work around the front porch, which required removal and reinstallation of the steps, and installing new boards (painted to colour match) for both handrails was equally impressive. Once the James Hardie Board was installed, the application of caulking was neat and professional, and they reinstalled the downspouts, exterior lights and doorbell, and cleaned up the yard and driveway. After completion of the project, we had another walk through with SIS Exteriors to ensure the project met our expectations. It did, and more. Our house looks great, better than before the hailstorm event, and we intend on enjoying it for years to come. Thanks to all employees from SIS Exteriors who helped us during the process. Our rating - 10/10.

  This company is siding my neighbours house. They packed up for the weekend and left garbage all over my driveway. These are the nails I have found so far on MY driveway. Not just near my property… right in the middle of my driveway. They aren’t even working on my house! Not to mention they’ve been using my driveway as their unloading zone and had their saws and sawhorses setup in MY driveway. I wouldn’t even have minded if they had asked me first but they did not. Now I’m spending my Friday evening picking up nails so I can leave my garage. I called the office to complain and they did send the guy back and he just said he couldn’t see any mess and left. They clearly did not even try to clean up.
