  Exceeded expectations. Tasks were to lifted and and level 65 year old concrete side walk; lift apron concrete to meet front steps to the home which had sunk about 4 inches making the last step down 4 inches too high and a hazard. Patch cracks in oversized driveway. Leah who was the foreman was communicative throughout and the work was completed at the estimated cost. It was tiny favourite part of renovations to the property. Leah gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! DZ Edmonton AB

  I recently had Laven and Oluwatosin here from Groundworks to install a weeping tile system to replace mine that failed. The pre-install inspection was so thorough as was the explanation of system and how it works after completion. Took less time than originally expected, both were punctual and called ahead, respectful of my home with thorough clean up afterwards. Certainly gives me peace of mind should we ever have another record rainfall event, hopefully not. Groundworks is lucky to have Laven and Tosin and I'd recommend them and Groundworks.   We had Groundworks complete our interior weeping tile this week, and the entire experience was honestly excellent from start to finish. Denis was wonderful to work with during the estimate and planning process. He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and gave us very competitive pricing. They were also able to get us booked in sooner than we expected, which was a huge bonus. Groundworks also manages and services our sump pump, so having one company we trust to look after both the sump pump and weeping tile gives us a lot of peace of mind. The work itself for the interior weeping tile took two days, and Walter and Alexander were fantastic. They were kind, respectful, communicative, and incredibly mindful of our home throughout the process. The work involved them being inside and Walter and Alexander kept everything pristine and made the interruption to our day as minimal as possible. You could tell they genuinely respected our home and wanted to do things properly. It is not often that a major home repair feels this smooth and well managed. We really appreciated the professionalism, attention to detail, and care from everyone involved. I would absolutely recommend Groundworks to anyone needing this type of work done.

  I needed my walkway lifted and underneath my front step (stoop) filled in. I enjoyed dealing with Phil during the presentation- he was knowledgeable, honest and very personable. I felt very comfortable with my decision to use Groundworks thanks to Phil. The guys who performed the work (Yughurtha and Abdi) were awesome. There was an issue with the walkway lift at the front step. Due to settling and shifting over the past many years, the walkway was contacting the underside of the step and was causing stress on the step and a roof support post. This posed a high risk of consequential damage if they were to proceed to lift any further. I was involved in the discussion regarding this and after detail explanation, it was my decision to leave as is. Even though I was OK with the decision to leave as is, Yughurtha and Abdi decided to try a different approach and went back to try again. I'm very impressed that they held themselves to a higher standard than I even did! I find that is very rare nowadays. The walkway was also lifted at the sidewalk to perfection. I'm very happy with the work performed and the incredible communication. I have never had any work like this done before and it was a perfect experience. I highly recommend Groundworks. Thank-you Phil, Yughurtha and Abdi.

  Had a consultation with Jarett Aschenbrenner this morning and he unknowingly walked into a more complex than average situation. The quote was done efficiently and well communicated. The issue was conveying this information to the homeowner who isn't fluent in English. It took a lot of extra time and translating. Jarett offered assistance along the way, never once showed any discomfort or akwardness, and was extremely patient. His attitude and demeanor is a strong first impression of Groundworks.
