  Last year I had a water heater installed and the experience was fantastic. 1 year later not so much getting a furnace. The installation went fine but dealing with the billing has been a nightmare. First, charging me for something I didn't need and then trying to get the money back a nightmare. Had it installed on the 24th of September and now 4 days later they are offering better rebates. They could have told me to wait a few days for a better deal.

  We are on the Arpi’s platinum plan for both HVAC and plumbing/boiler services. We had our annual inspection of our boiler and hot water system, and for the second time in 5 days we have no hot water. The responsiveness on our first call was ok (with me pushing the urgency), but the second call offered an appointment 4 weeks from today. Preventative maintenance is supposed to not disrupt something that is working well. Disappointed in the service and feeling very frustrated about the quality and value of the service. I expect better from Arpi’s paying a premium to be a platinum member

  I called ARPI ‘s service to have them check the strange rattle coming from my ducts because it's been messing with my sleep. They showed up and their attitude was decent. They checked the furnace—which is fine—and did a basic walkthrough of the ductwork, but they didn't fix the issue or even offer a solution. Overall, it was pretty mediocre. Instead of solving the problem, they focus on their service packages on me. Since they didn't fix anything, I didn't buy a package. Now I have to find another HVAC company to come take a look, mainly at the duct rattle. All in all, for my first time dealing with them, my impression was just so-so. Just check and cost 280 CAD, not worth.

  - on Monday 21 Sept 2026 Partners Joswan & Chris did an awesome job on cleaning our heating system (furnace, ducting, suction & vent registers). They gave us a call- enough heads-up notice prior to their arrival. They are meticulous and take time on what they do, and left the place/work area nice & neat as it was originally. Price is reasonable, excellent ethics and workmanship quality 👍 5 stars rating -highly recommended💥 Ric & Teresa @ Kincora NW Calgary

  ★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing and predatory experience with ARPI’s tech I chose Arpi’s based on their strong local reputation, but my experience with their technician was completely unacceptable. He displayed predatory pricing and total dishonesty. • Extravagant Price Gouging: The technician attempted to charge me $1,400+ to supply and install an Honeywell touchscreen thermostat with humidity control. That thermostat unit retails at Home Depot for $135. Charging a markup of over 1000% for a standard thermostat installation is completely unreasonable. • Unsubstantiated Extra Fees: When questioned about the charges, he claimed a previous email had notified me of an additional hourly rate. However, when asked to show proof of this communication, he was entirely unable to produce it. • Billing for Unperformed Work: He spent barely 5 minutes on-site and attempted to add a $150 charge for an extra hour of labor without performing any actual service. Because of these dishonest tactics, I refused further service, paid the initial $99 dispatch fee, and had to ask him to leave my property. Management needs to address this technician's conduct directly. I strongly caution anyone booking with Arpi's to watch their billing carefully and demand written quotes before letting this individual perform any work.
