I went in to see what products and services they had to offer to support my buisness. I was greeted in the parking lot before I even got out of my truck! She asked me what I was in for and when I told her I was just looking to find a buisness to partner with to support my construction company she walked me into the front office. I started talking to Jamie who was the first to greet me. As we were talking I noticed the other guy (I can’t remember his name) at the end of the counter was listening to our conversation. He joined in and told me more about how they bring in new products and try their best to support any job. Even specialty tools. I ended up renting an excavator and breaker and cut off saw. Two staff members met me in the yard and made sure I knew how to run everything! They even offered pointers and advise on the best way to use the equipment. This store will be my equipment supplier for every need I have. A huge thank you to the staff!

- CPCurtis PatonSep 12, 20251.0Trailer fell off after negligent employee hooked it up on the wrong size ball. Driving downtown Victoria the trailer that I rented from united fell off and left me stranded in the left lane with heavy traffic. Thankfully no one was injured, but it caused a huge traffic jam and I had to stop traffic and drive the trailer with just the chains to a nearby side street. The 16ft tandem axle was wedged under my truck so I had to call my crew out to help unwedge it from under the frame. Super lucky I was able to prevent it from causing an accident, but it was still a scary experience and ruined my day to say the least. Very disappointed with the way the united rentals management has handled this situation. I told them at the end of the day on Tuesday and the manager was away, but they told me he would call me back wed or Thurs. didn’t hear anything all week and called him myself on Friday. When I finally got a hold of him no one had relayed the message and it just felt like they weren’t taking it very seriously.
