  A friend of mine reached out to this company with legitimate concerns about the placement of a bin, and this is the response they received from the CEO of Scott Asbestos. Regardless of who’s right or wrong, no company owner should ever speak to people like this. As someone who works in the same industry, I find it completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

  Got a quote for an abatement from them. Very very high. I emailed back saying I’ll look around. Next day I got another quote $2000 less ! Ended up with a known company that did it for less than half of their second quote. Price gouging is common in trades so do your homework. I personally think quoting like this is bad for the economy and society.

  We hired Scott Asbestos and Hazmat to do an air quality test on a cottage house we are renting. We had concerns about hidden mould and ongoing health complications. Justin Doran is the employee who attended. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable on everything air quality related. Justin was able to expedite our results as he saw how concerned we were about our living situation. I highly recommend Scott Asbestos and particularly Justin Doran! We will be buying a home in the new year and we feel reassured to have someone as thorough as Justin to do a mould inspection prior to closing on the sale. Thanks again we are extremely grateful for your service!

  I wish every company I dealt with had this level of customer service! Justin came a few years ago and quoted me on some asbestos removal. Life got crazy and I finally got back to them and they honoured the original quote which I was completely shocked by. Cathy has been nothing short of amazing to deal with. The communication is excellent, right up to Rose letting me know in the morning a more accurate time of arrival and a call from Justin because they were going to be a half hour late. I want to be friends with all of these people and believe me, there isn't a lot of people I am looking to be friends with anymore lol. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of service!
