I called Pope &Sons to conduct an inspection of my Heat pump.We had purchased our home a year ago and we’re totally unfamiliar with Heat Pumps. Doug did the annual review. He was was excellent! He explained how heat pumps worked and how we could reduce our energy costs. He took photos of the components and explained how to maintain the components, we could not be happier ! Doug was friendly , professional, and did an excellent job in all respects. We will use Pope and Sons for all our serving and heat pump needs. Sid & Barb

We had Kyle out last week to service our heat pump and make sure it was in good working order. He was very prompt and and texted me when he was on his way. Did his job most effectually and I was very pleased. He was the most friendly I couldn’t have been happier. He followed up by making sure all were working. Kyle from Pope and Sons I would highly recommend anyone for there service.

Technicians onsite were great. Office staff, although friendly, didn’t know the tech was to come back the next day and I had to call asking when they were coming. Perhaps it was the tech that didn’t leave correct instructions. Also sent out an HVAC tech the first time for a plumbing issue and didn’t realize he needed to have the town turn off the water prior to getting parts which meant a delay to having it fixed. I hope that is not reflected on the bill where he had to wait. All in all, everyone was friendly and nice! Perhaps there is lack of communication issues though.

My experience was a very positive one from the first phone call! Geoff Munro came to the house to give me a quote and he was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. He asked the appropriate questions to determine what my needs would be. I highly recommend this company!! Lance and his apprentice were super fast and efficient. I’d like to give a big shoutout to the guys for taking off their shoes at the doors.so appreciated!

We had a heat pump installed last summer. First Pope and Sons seemed to be a little disorganized. I over looked this as we had the heat pump with air conditioning installed for the warm summer. I contacted Pope and Sons in August as I was doing the paperwork for the rebate and they told me the documents I needed for this application had not been submitted to Fortis Gas rebate but they would do this immediately. In October we were contacted by Fortis Rebate saying our documents were incomplete. I contacted Pope and Sons and asked them to resubmitted the needed documents In November Pope and Sons assured me that the documents has been sent. We are now into 2026 and I contacted Fortis Rebate today about the status of my rebate, and was told that the documents requested in October had not been submitted. At this point I was told by Fortis Rebate that I likely would not receive this rebate unless the documents were submitted immediately as in today or tomorrow. I spent a few hours trying to reach Pope and Sons through their main office. They did not answer or call me back. Tonight I think we may have a happy ending to this drama thanks to Margaret, from Pope and Sons. Margaret answered her cell phone, even though she was working on an installation at the time. Margaret said she would 'get back to us'. At 5 o'clock I had pretty much given up hope but then Margaret called at 6pm with answers. Apparently, the documents had been submitted in November 2025 to Fortis Rebate but for some reason Fortis could not see this information on their app. Margaret sent me a copy of the documents from the Fortis Rebate app proving they were there and I have now resent them directly to Fortis Rebate. Although Pope and Sons did make some mistakes I have to say that with people such as Margaret I think my rating will improve to a 4-5 in the future. P.S. Our heat pump has been working well.
