They cleaned, very quickly, my wood stove and the 15 feet of pipe that vents the smoke, just before the burning season started. We heat our home with wood. I contacted them when it became apparent that we had a downdraft problem unlike we have ever had before. Some mornings we could not even warm the flue because because the air coming down the pipe would blow out the newspaper we used. Two weeks later a young woman called to say that she was contacting the owner who would contact me. That was more than 3 weeks ago. I haven't heard a peep and the problem continues and we're washing walls and upholstery.

A minor issue arose on inspection over a 1/2 inch discrepancy on the chimney box related to the weird pitch of our roof. We contacted Oliver's and they took complete ownership of the issue. Richard Oliver came out himself and re installed the chimney to make the small adjustment at no charge, right in the middle of his busy season. As a business owner, Richard stands behind their work, even for new owners 5 years later, and was great to deal with. That is something that matters, especially these days when everything is so expensive. We will use Olivers for future maintenance and would not hesitate to recommend them.
