  Had mr swirl come out for a clogged sanitary drain this past Saturday evening, they were able to quickly come to address the issue, which was great initially. The plumber was nive and quoted me 1800$ and gave a guarantee at a flat rate price (meaning not a hourly cost but they would work until the job is complete), unless the line was collapsed this would work. I then asked if he was using a auger, which he said yes. Then after about 1.5 hours of trying, he told me he couldnt get it unclogged and the line most likely has to be dug up but he would like to try hydro blasting the line first, he also then revealed that he never was using an auger but it was a snake. He kind of sort of made a bit of hole in the clog and he couldn't hydro blast the line until the following Monday or tuesday at the earliest. I then had a different company come out first thing Monday morning and they charged me 600$ to auger the line and it got rid of the clog with about 3 hours of work. So basically Mr swirl charged me almost 2 grand to tell me that I had a clog and nothing else, I then talked to the management team and they ended up refunding me 275$ out of the 1740$ I was charged, which is ok I guess but I still feel very much so ripped off. Hopefully this review helps future customers before doing business with Mr swirl

  Charged us almost $1800 for an ATTEMPT at unclogging our sewer line — guy spent about an hour on it and then gave up despite us being charged this insane flat rate. Next plumber we worked with charged $600 for the same service and actually got the job done. They offered us like a 10% refund lol.

  I'll never use them again. $148 call out fee and after being on site for less than 2 hours I received an invoice for $750 for snaking a drain in the house.

  My experience with this plumbing company was not satisfactory. The pricing was significantly higher than expected, and I felt there was a lack of transparency in how the costs were explained. Especially if you are dealing with a plumbing issue over the weekend, be prepared for very high charges. In urgent situations, it can feel like you don’t have much choice but to accept the pricing. I would strongly recommend getting quotes from other companies before proceeding, and making sure you fully understand the costs upfront.
