  I had been here before to rent a drill, no problems. Several years later I went to rent an inspection camera. The lady kinda seemed irritated that I wanted to test the camera to see if it was for 1) working correctly and 2) had a picture quality worth using. She handed me a power supply and said it plugged in at the hub of the reel. I seen a wire coming out and plugging into a battery holder and said, there must be a battery for this, this is the battery holder with the electric contacts on it.....she said no there no battery theres only this.....ok so I unplugged the "battery" holder and plugged in the power supply and everything looked ok so we proceeded to the counter. She asked for my phone number and I said it will be under my landladies number, she's paying to rent it, and she said no I want your number. So I gave it and she says, yes I see you were here before. She tried to upsell some insurance which I declined and she said the camera is worth $2000 so she said she could work the extra fee into the quoted price. she asked for my drivers license, I gave it, she asked for a credit card and I gave her the landladies as she is the one wanting to get the pipes looked at and paying the rental. The lady started typing it into her computer and I said hey thats not a good idea, I dont want you putting her credit card info and her security number into your computer, I said thats a major security issue with me. then she got more disgruntled and said we can rent this to you, the card and the drivers license need to match, your land lady will have to come down here and do it. I said she's 81 and has a walker, she cant just come here she car hardly stand. and she said well we cant help you sorry. I was kinda surprised as I had been there before, I asked to speak to the manager but he conveniently had already gone home. so I left. big waste of time right? So I came back the next day with $3000 cash and said I'd like to rent the camera for a day, is $3000 cash enough to alleviate your concerns? nope! its gotta be a credit card, blah blah blah. so I asked for the manager and he came and said no we cant take cash and we dont use the interac machine that was sitting right there we put it all into the computer. So at this point I just realized that "somethin's the problem" and that this place wasnt worth my time and aggravation and left. good job guys

  Always friendly, willing to accommodate and provide great service. Plus reasonable rates. Highly recommend even if it’s just a small item for occasional use!!!

  They rented me a 450 pound plate tamper and told me it was 700 The badge on the unit stated clearly that it’s 205 kg (452lb) When I asked about this they literally said “I don’t know why it says that on there. it’s definitely 700 pounds” No apology, no refund, just denial. Use cooper rentals. They actually care about customers and know their products.
