  Had my water heater replaced yesterday. My biggest fear has always been to get ripped off. Caleb was the technician who came out and helped me get the best price possible to replace the water heater in our house (and get it up to code). Not only was he nice and personable, but very knowledgeable on what we needed to get done. All my interactions with everyone from this company seemed genuine and that made me feel very comfortable trusting them.

  Terrible experience dealing with James… I trusted his expertise when he said he would fix a toilet. Charged $400, but nothing got fixed. They even put the back with screws still showing. Now he says he needs $800 more to fix. And I tried to talk to the manager Aaron Rice and called me “hostile” just when I pointed the outwhen I know how to really treat customers for over 20 years managing my father’s construction business. Anyway avoid these two and check out the pictures attached

  Goettl’s service deserves a **5/5**. When we called on a Saturday, a technician came out quickly. They returned the next day (Easter Sunday) with the part and spent 5–6 hours fixing our unit. However, I can only rate the HVAC unit they sold us a **3/5**. We paid over $18,000 for a new AC system less than three years ago and have already needed **three service calls** at our expense. The latest repair cost $1,200 — mostly labor for a $30 part. For something that costs as much as a car, I expected it to last longer than this. At just three years old, it feels unreliable, and now the technician is pushing a preventative maintenance plan even though I change the filters monthly. I’m very disappointed in the quality and value of the unit Goettl installed. While I appreciate their customer service and status text messages that keep me up to date, it doesn’t make up for the poor reliability and high ongoing costs of the unit they sold us.

  My AC went down and I called goettl, my system is old I know that, I need a new one I know that too. But the problem was a wire I asked a friend of our family (he has an AC business too) to come take a look after goettl he saw the problem and fixed it so we have cool air while we’re deciding decide on a new unit. Goettl was fine letting us sit in a hot house while giving us 3 impossible options. 1 throw a bandage on it for cheap but the system may rupture. 2 replace all the effected parts for almost as much as my new unit but wait for the parts for who knows how long. 3 get a new system for double what I’m paying for my new one (that’s the starter unit). No thanks I’m so glad I have a community of people around me because otherwise I probably would’ve melted wishing I had enough to get the new unit. Not good business, don’t fix the problem (it was a simple fix, once he found it, it took him 6 minutes and we had cool air.) and let the customer sweat it out until they chose one of the 3 horrible choices presented.

  Started out very dissatisfied at the beginning of our service call! There were a series of miscommunications. Our service did not get completed till the next day! Jesus showed up around noon and had the unit working by 2pm. He was very kind and professional. The next day I received a call from Daniel ( an upper level manager). He called to discuss the dissatisfaction in the beginning of my service call. He was very apologetic about the miscommunications and delays! To rectify the situation, he offered a partial refund. I was very pleased to see that he would do this to make it right. I accepted and this whole situation ended up in a very positive way. My AC is now working great! I am highly satisfied!
