  Our technician Trevor gets 10 stars out of 5. After assessing our problems - toilet and bathtub not draining, a sink not draining due to roots in the line and a “thumping sound” in the pipes - he gave us an update on what needed to be done, a cost estimate and educated us on how we could address this going forward. Trevor went to work and fixed each issue while keeping us advised as to what exactly needed to be done and what he was doing. He was easy to work with and obviously knows “his business”. Oh yes, he also emptied a scupper that was blocked while he was investigating issues on the roof affecting drainage. Trevor was the best as were his colleagues who helped us understand future PM efforts.

  After 5 bids and months to make a decision, I chose Rite Way, not because they were less...though they were. They were communicative, professional and knowledgeable first and foremost. Every one of their team was courteous, kind and thoughtful. This was a HUGE job and a big expense (40+K) yet their communication and explanation of the process was key for me. They repaired, replaced my broken, cracked cast iron sewer pipes. I'm 66 and a woman (I say that because it matters to many of us who have to make all the decisions for our homes) and I would trust this company if I needed a plumber, sewer repair, replacement electrical work or any of the work they do. James M., was my project manager and all listed here are great and wonderfully trustworthy.   Not horrible service. More than professional from day of calling and scheduling to day of service. Big complains would be I did not receive before and after videos/photos of duct cleaning. Cleanup of project was subpar. Lots of dust, paint chips, and dirt I had to clean up myself. My hose was nicely laid in my backyard before services. After the service, my hose was connected to the outside faucet near my front yard and not even put away properly. Just left out for anyone to see and or take. Lots of dust all outside for me to clean up. Dirty boots walking in and out of my house is expected but just insult to injury after having additional cleaning to do from this project. For the price i paid, id expect far better services for 3 hours of work. $1509

  When my furnace didn't start up on a chilly morning, I knew something was wrong. I called Rite Way office, and they set up an appointment for the very same day. My service technician, Marcus, contacted me and we talked about the furnace. In my layperson terms, I described the screen of the thermostat to him, and he gave me some things to try before he arrived. I love how proactive Marcus was in working with me - he was very patient, answered my questions, and explained everything he was doing as we went along. We tried that old trick of unplugging and plugging the cords back into the socket, and it did fix part of the issue, and the rest of the repairs came about as he checked on and inspected the furnace. Once we were up and running, he checked all the vents and output temperatures, plus the smoke and Radon alarms. A bonus was that Marcus and my cat got along very well. Overall, I received the service and treatment I have come to expect from Rite Way. Thank you so much!

  Shop around! We called rite way due to our tankless water heater not functioning. The technician gave us two options-warranty the current one or purchase a new system. If the manufacturer accepts the warranty, the technician stated it would cost roughly $2,100 for them to do the warranty work. My wife asked what it would cost to replace the system and the rough estimate was $7,500-$9,000! The technician said he would look into the warranty and get back to us my the 29th but that didn’t happen. The didn’t follow through at all, seems as through they just want to work in their own equipment. We found a new tankless water heater online for less than $2,000. Hired someone to install it and we now have hot water again. Rite way may offer speedy appointments but their services are more like highway robbery! Consumers beware!
