  We had a wonderful experience today with a sales agent named Ty "The Water Guy" through the Costco program with Collins Comfort Masters. From start to finish, Ty was a true professional. What stood out most was how much he respected our specific requests and truly listened to our concerns. Instead of a one-size-fits-all pitch, he worked with us to create a customized package that actually fit our needs and budget. Ty guided us through the entire process, clearly explaining everything from the initial installation to long-term maintenance. We actually made our decision to move forward yesterday specifically because of his professionalism, his deep knowledge of the subject, and his genuine passion for clean water. If you are looking for a seamless experience and someone who actually cares about the quality of your home's water, we cannot recommend Ty and the team at Collins Comfort Masters enough!

  Andrew was knowledgeable, professional, kind, and answered all of our questions, even those not directly related to our problem (the water softener setup). He worked efficiently and went beyond to address other unknown issues with our water softener setup! Collins, itself, was also great - it got our appointment scheduled relatively quickly and honored the install warranty without any problems. Overall, despite the need for calling them, Collins made it as painless an experience as possible, which we greatly appreciate!

  My entire experience has to do with the sales representative and his methods. In the end, I cancelled the purchase of an EcoWater RO system (with a remineralization add-on for $509) that came in at $2900 before the Collins Comfort and Costco rebates that subtracted $600. So, $2300. I objected to his hard sell pressure to sign right away, the fact that he extolled the virtues while skipping the negatives, and his response to my "cold" water in the summer being way past the ideal 75 degrees, in fact over 100 degrees, which will damage, if not destroy an RO filter. Look it up! He told me it wasn't that hot (wrong) and that my system would work fine in my town. It took me days to learn enough to refute that and much of what else he claimed. He was so nice if I accepted what he said, but either got testy, combative, or very silent/changed the subject when I refuted a claim. He never did give me other options, while saying that he would. Finally, he did not send me my contract in a timely manner, wasting 2 days of my time to cancel. He said he got the wrong email address. By then, he had no credibility with me. He insisted I could cancel anytime up until the unit was installed, but due to a Sunday and a Federal holiday I was able to do my research and cancel within the 3-day limit, and didn't have to test this. IMO, there is a reason they don't advertise their prices publicly, and insist on an in-home visit to purchase their product.

  So far I am very disappointed with the services I have been provided regarding the installation of the whole house water purification system. The reasons are outlined below: 1) I cleared a specific area in my garage for the installation of the water filtration system and the installer, Mr. Mandell Brown, placed the unit in front of my hot water heater. Mr. Brown then informed me that I could undo the two nuts if I need to get to my water heater. I am in my 70s and once the units are full this will be near impossible. 2) In addition to the whole house system I specifically purchased a Reverse OSMOSIS alkaline softener for the kitchen and the current set-up does not have the alkaline columns as shown in the pictures. The sales agent, Mr. Tyrel Potter, informed me that this may be a mistake on his end. I have not been informed of how this will be resolved. 3) I am also still waiting for the signed contract of my purchase as outlined in my initial meeting on 2/4/2026. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company until I can get everything fixed. I am expecting that these issues will be resolved as soon as possible or I am given a refund and the equipment removed.

  The salesman, Tyrel, was friendly, informative, had a great sense of humor, and answered all of our questions in a manner that was in layman's terms. He worked with us to get the best deal possible, and was never pushy about making a sale. He worked with us to meet our availability in getting the water softener system installed. Again, I can't stress how much Tyrel knew about not only his products but many other vendor's product, as I had researched the products of a few of their competitors. He was very helpful on other water related issues that we had questions about as well. I would highly recommend this company for water softeners as well as any other water related matters.
