Edit: Your response to emailing means nothing as I have put in multiple warranty claims and can't even get a call, so emailing the email won't do anything.. been 1 year and they haven't been able to fix any of the over 50 items I've reported to them except for about 2 things the contractor was just by my house and could fix on the spot.

We moved into our home in July. We first off had a massive water leak (waste water to be exact) we called their “emergency line”, were greeted by a very rude woman who made it apparent how much we were inconveniencing her by calling and nobody ever returned our call. We went 2 days with no water before Monday rolled around and we could get the construction super to handle the damage. It required repair 3 separate times. I was supposed to be reimbursed for our expenses on our electric bill from all the massive (and loud!) equipment that filled our entryway for two weeks- 6 months later still nothing. We have a massive list of repairs that has still not been addressed from our 3 month walk through, they are now messaging me about our 6 month- what a joke. They fixed a huge crack in the wall of my sons room, but the painters missed painting the 6foot by 2 foot patch. I asked if I could just get some paint and I would do it myself. Well, 3 months later, NOTHING. Even though I’ve been told it’s scheduled and they would let me know when the painters are returning.. nothing. They’re contractors are incredibly rude and inconsiderate, they’ve left my house filthy after doing work, literally have drywall dust EVERYWHERE, chunks of drywall plaster are stuck in my carpet and they refuse to address it. my kitchen island has holes in it. I have paint stuck to my flooring everywhere, paint drips all over. This is a brand new home and it looks cheap and uncared for simply due to very poor craftsmanship. This is my first ever home of my own and the disappointment I feel is almost painful. I am a woodworker by trade and have taken to fixing things on my own, Save yourself a massive headache and find a different builder. Update: we’ve been here almost two years & we are still fighting to have repairs done. It’s taken multiple very public complaints on social media, calls to ROC, photos of damages and the work orders they would make that later “disappear” & they claim they would never have said they would fix, multiple legal threats. Our whole driveway sank and had to be relaid. Our cabinets that were installed damaged took 8 attempts to replace. The amount of time from work we’ve had to take for repeated contractor appointments due to bad oversight and lazy contractors is insane. I can’t understand how they can even afford to run a business like this. Oh, & Sandy from customer service coming in my home after Mispronouncing my name as she yelled it to me on the phone like an ape with no etiquette to tell me she was incapable of properly planning and would be late for the appointment Richmond made as a “let’s make this better”. Walking into my home with an alpha female aggressive & unwelcome attitude. After me fighting for a year & a half & telling me to “just advocate for yourself”, learned how quickly I advocate when I kicked her out of my house. Richmond sent management back & seems to FINALLY understand I am not backing down to bullies. I paid them to build this house & refuse to continue to be gaslit. I told 6 different men who came to walk through our house that the oven was sticking out way too far. ALL OF THEM told me “that’s normal” until the last who realized it was not on the bracket and had been at risk for snapping the gas line for well over a year! Another continuously told me it was “normal” to have a blanket of bugs of your ceiling every time it rains. Weird, in my 34 years in Tucson I never have had an issue with a door that allowed a swarm of bugs in my house. Well, of course, I was told I was wrong repeatedly until I became a “Karen” and they actually called Avanti to come look at the door to discover the wrong seals were installed and it was allowing bugs to get in! Unacceptable behavior and business practices. This company is the equivalent of a horrible Narcissistic ex-boyfriend who just can’t say a single word you can trust. Document and keep records of EVERYTHING. Do not community via telephone. GET IT ALL in writing. 10/23 legal representation for multiple houses has been contacted
