  We needed our ACs checked and Richaard came out and discovered a hot electrical outlet and singed wires which could have led to a devastating outcome. He immediately identified the issues and was able to come back out right away to replace the outlet and cords. He's so knowledgeable and also polite and engaging, answering all my questions since I know nothing about AC! Will recommend WAY COOL to everyone now! Thank you!

  I recently signed up for Way Cool’s maintenance membership program. I had a thorough Plumbing and HVAC inspection. The team was fantastic. First Kodi knocked out all the plumbing items we needed resolved, along with a thorough inspection of the house. Then. Edwin came by the following week and even though we weren’t experiencing any current issues, he provided a thorough HVAC maintenance check on the entire house. He caught some big areas of concern with our 10 year old unit’s capacitor on its last leg, and before risking a long summer of heat, he worked within the warranty and installed new equipment as needed. They were both up front with costs and options, which ultimately helped me make a comfortable decision. Highly recommend.

  We contacted Way Cool in June 2025 because one of our tenant's AC units (in a Scottsdale condo) wasn't working properly, Way Cool charged $89 for the "diagnosis" and then said that the unit needed to be replaced for $4,547. I spoke to the individual who performed the diagnosis, but he was quite inarticulate, and I was unable to understand what he was saying. I repeatedly asked the company for an explanation as to what was wrong with the unit (my tenant was without an operating living room AC in a Scottsdale summer, so I was eager to have the matter resolved), but the company was somehow unable to get back to me with this information (although they did repeated email invoices.) I contacted the condo's concierge office to get a list of recommended AC vendors and was surprised to find that this company (which previously operated under a different name) was no longer on their recommended vendor list. At that point, I started to really have doubts about the "diagnosis" and reputability of this company. So, I contacted another company on the list. After the second company inspected the unit (at no change), they told me that a part needed to be replaced, and that the charge would be $1,250, all in. When I discussed Way Cool's diagnosis and estimate with the second company, I was told that this type of conduct (i.e., telling customers that entire expensive units needed to be replaced, rather than repairing them ) is widespread in a less-than-scrupulous industry. In any event, within a matter of days, the work was completed by the second company. That was more than six months ago, and we have not had any problems since. By contacting them, we saved $3,386.
