  Overpriced service with continuous suggestions trying to upsell me with additional add ons. After checking with other individuals on the Next Door app for Desert Ridge that needed the same type of spring replacement service I needed I discovered I paid anywhere from $1000 to 1300 more than what other garage door services would have charged me. Because of the circumstances of having visitors I needed my door fixed asap and didn’t have the option of having quotes from other companies. I sensed that Steve and his assistant knew that as I had googled ahead of time what to expect to pay to get a spring replaced. I told Steve his pricing was way out of line but he offered no other option. After posting my experience on the Desert Ridge app there were a bunch of posts from other companies and individuals telling me in so many words that I was fleeced.

  Malfunctioning remotes and garage door opener not working. When I called A1, an actual human being—not AI—answered and very pleasantly scheduled same-day service to fix the problem. I was given a window of 2-5 PM, and around 1:45 received a call from the technician, Cody, letting me know that he was on his way and giving me his estimated arrival time. After the phone call, I received a text with the tech’s picture so I would be able to identify him. Upon arrival, Cody quickly assessed the problem and offered me a choice of solutions, explaining the features and cost of each, without any pressure to select the most expensive option. (Some businesses try to upsell consumers on things they don’t need—I didn’t get that feeling at all.) Cody was efficient, professional, and well-mannered, and was able to make all the needed repairs within a two-hour time period. In general, the communication from A1 was excellent, and I was pleased that all the work was completed in one afternoon.

  No one ever wants to spend money on a repair but we are very happy for the service we got. Andrew did an amazing job kept us filled throughout as he was working on things that needed to be addressed. We are very happy and tho we hope we don't need service again soon we would go through this company and recomend to friends and family. Thank you for hiring good honest workers I'd say give that man a raise.

  A1 was great. Their contract/communication was awesome. Chase was the most professional serviceman that I have ever met. He explained EVERYTHING in terms that I could understand and was not a pressure type of serviceman like most other people that come out on service calls nowadays! Chase will be the reason I keep going back to A1 , and the fact that it is important to A1 to employ technicians that professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable with their craft! If A1 is reading this….. Give Chase a raise, you can’t afford to let someone like him get away! He is a great representative of and for your company!

  Due to a major challenge at my residence that could have jeopardized my safety, I reached out desperately to A1 very early in the am to get my garage door replaced. The entire team from A1 went way above the call duty to meet my needs! I never been treated with such kindness, respect and professionalism like this before. The peace of Jesus resonated with Grayg Divounguy as he approached my home. Thanks to Allyson Moore for orchestrating everything while on vacation! Thanks to Dylan to meeting my financial budget and listening to every small detail. Lastly, thank you to Mary for jumping through hoops to get it installed the next day! Only this incredible experience could of been met from the blessing of our Lord!
