  They did a good job installing our VELUX skylights in March of 2025. At the time of installation, the salesperson touted the Arizona tax credit of 30% that we would receive once we would file our taxes for 2025. He even mentioned that we should call back if we had any questions on filing and receiving the tax credit. Fast forward almost a year and we just found out (through our tax filing software) that there is no tax credit for our skylights anymore because the tax law changed for 2025 and VELUX does not provide a QMID (Qualified Manufacturer ID) which is required to receive the tax credit. Unsure on what is going on, I called Arizona Home Daylight to clarify the issue. I was told that I am the third customer calling and that I should try calling VELUX myself to get the QMID. I called VELUX and they confirmed that they do not provide a QMID for these skylights and thus there is no tax credit option. Based on that I called back Arizona Home Daylight and was told that this is true and that they were unaware until now that there is no tax credit anymore. Initially, they were trying to steer me away by claiming that the issue is on my side since I am using a tax filing software and not a tax professional. This is clearly not true. A quick online search provided me with a statement from VELUX that there is no more tax credit for skylights (see attached screenshot). So, do I put all the blame on Arizona Home Daylight. The answer is no. But, some blame falls on Arizona Home Daylight for not doing their homework. And what made me really angry was how they handled my questions. This is what I would have expected from them. As soon as the first customer had called about the QMID, the company should have done their research to have all the answers for customers like me. Then, contact those customers and apologize for incorrectly touting a non-existing tax credit. And finally, provide some financial compensation for the customers who were affected. Because in the end part of the blame falls on them. Hopefully, this review helps some customers in avoiding the runaround of calling VELUX when the answer is clear as outlined on the VELUX website.

From this consultation to installation, the process was a breeze and very timely I can’t say enough about the fine job that their installer does He leaves the house j Spotless. He’s great at giving you feedback as to where the solar tube would fit best. I’m so pleased to have more natural light in the house Nice group of people I wouldn’t hesitate to tell you to use them-

  (5-Stars+1) I could have gotten the job done for less but what I got for a little more money was a job well done plus their installer Devyn topped everything off by finding a leak in my roof near the install area and repairing it at no extra charge. I will be doing business with the company again.

  Devyn did a great job installing my skylights. He answered all of my questions. Very polite and courteous. Would recommend them without any hesitation. Thank you.

  AZ daylight has been professional and super helpful from the first time I contacted them until after the install. What I really appreciated about them is that they listened and provided solutions to what I wanted. They could have made more money installing what I suggested but they actually provided a better solution at a lower cost. I love that they are more interested in helping the customer than providing a solution that generates more profit to them. This is a rare in a construction type of business. I highly recommend this company.
