- LALocal Food and Fun PHX AZJul 19, 20251.0Went to purchase a home here and was blindsided by the flood insurance policy and cost it would be to own a basic home here due to the city of Peoria and home builders who didn’t receive a proper inspection certificate for building in a active flood plain. Be careful with flash flooding as the builder didn’t properly advise the homeowners.
