  It's always great when you can find a Payson company that really listens to what you want, has products that meet your need, are reputable and local, and treat you like a friend. We found all of these traits with O'Connor. We had an over 25-year-old, inefficient forced air propane heating and separate air condition systems and were waiting for one or both to fail. After a lot of research and successful experience with Home Heat Pump heating and cooling in Massachusetts where the winter temps are frequently in the teens and minus zero for days at a time, I was sure a Mitsubishi system would work just as well here in Payson. O'Connor is a certified and trained diamond contractor for Mitsubishi and work they perform assures the highest skilled installation and longest warrantee coverage. After listening to what we were looking for, Ben presented options for Rheem, Trane and Mitsubishi systems. I chose Mitsubishi because of my prior experience and thus far our experience with the installation and system has been great. Ben and crew arrived on time on our start date, were polite, thorough throughout the installation and completed the project ahead of schedule. Nicole, Ben's wife, completed and registered our warrantee information to assure we didn't forget, and they have followed up in calls to assure all is working well and that we are satisfied. This is the best experience with a vendor we have ever had, and we have done many home building and remodeling projects over the last 50 years. We highly recommend them and know that if you choose them to do your HVAC job or service your equipment you will be glad to truly have a friend in the business.

  Ben is a second generation Payson HVAC professional, following in his father's footsteps. Along with maintaining his HVAC technician proficiency he also learned from his father, how to treat a client with respect and courtesy. Backing up Ben is his wife Nichole who oversees the office operation keeping clients updated on appointments, billing and answering many questions as did Ben.   I appreciate Ben and Nicole O’Connor through the entire process! My AC was struggling and I ended up needing a new unit. Nicole was patient and explained my options. When it came time to install, Ben and crew were efficient. My favorite part is that Nicole took the time to complete all the warranty paperwork. It’s one of those things that as busy as I am, I may have forgotten to complete. But it was one thing I didn’t need to worry about, because they go above and beyond. Thank you Ben and Nicole!

  From the process of getting a quote from the time of acceptance and payment and scheduling was amazing. They worked with us on the sizing and the equipment needed. They prepped the area and made sure everything worked properly and followed up. Couldn’t have been more satisfied.

  O'Connor Heating and Cooling did the original heating and cooling system installation in our home many years ago. They have maintained and serviced our system ever since. Their work has been excellent in every regard. They always responded to our need in a timely manner, with the highest quality work and materials and with a positive and caring attitude. You definitely feel they want to be there and help you personally. You're not just another number in their files but like friends they are helping out. Originally we worked with Bob and Becky O'Connor and now we are working with son Ben and wife Nicole O'Connor. The transition from father to son has been seemless with the same care and quality continuing without a hitch from this local family owned business. Here's an example of the care and quality we've experienced from Ben and Nicole. Our system quit on a 100 degree day. We called O'Connor. Ben was at our house by 8:00 the next morning inspecting our system. He explained in detail with cost estimates the options available to us: repair or replace. Given the age of our system we chose replacement but feared it would take a long time to get the right equipment to Payson. They found the right equipment and Nicole drove to Phoenix the same day and picked it up. By 8:00 the next morning Ben and team were at our house starting the installation. By mid afternoon they were finished. The work area was clean and neat, the system thoroughly tested and operating perfectly on yet another 100 degree day. We're old, so getting the system up and running again in such a short time in severe weather was invaluable to us. In talking with Ben about this extremely short timeline he explained that taking care of us, especially during this very hot weather, was important to them personally and professionally. As I said we were treated personally not like a number. We've had many contractors work on our home since we built it. O'Connor Heating and Cooling is by far the most professional and caring with whom we've had the pleasure to work with. We offer out highest recommendation for this local business.
