- AAAZ4ROct 31, 20255.0October 28th 2025, Arizona dukes of air came out and replaced our 14-year-old unit that was not worth repairing for many reasons unfortunately. Now I had gotten 2 other AC repair/replacement quotes from 2 other major companies. Not only was Arizona dukes of air a tad bit cheaper, but the Bang for the buck with an amazing unit was just so much better. And made so much more sense To go with. I originally called Arizona Dukes of air to just have them come out and get a third quote for just in case reasons. They sent over Dimitri, Who is a very cool professional knowledgeable skilled man at everything he explained and provided. He did his thing gave me the 2 estimates and I chose the stage2 3 ton, and we are beyond happy with it. The installation Technician team were very fast efficient and professional in there work like no other, hats off to them! glad to have gone with them and have the peace of mind of everything about this company and our new unit! please do not hesitate to give them a call. They are definitely worth it, And you don't get that corporate feeling at all from them.
- FMF MOct 17, 20251.0The hvac co I use: dukes of air, who I originally purchased my unit in 2016 for my 1k sq foot condo, came out today for biannual maintenance check —which obviously doesn’t include removal and cleaning of blower wheel and housing, nor does it include cleaning out the water outflow drainage tube that collects foliage debris; which then cause water backup prompting another service call. Btw. I promptly dumped the monthly service fee to get two “system checks “ a year because it seems like once they find nothing they could create something. I’m not looking over their shoulder step by step and asking what are you doing, what does this mean? But I will for sure moving forward!! I keep my air at 77 and not lower, so there’s not a huge stress. They noted a slow leak in February and suggested a leak test. I didn’t do it at the time since he said it was slow. Today two guys come out, in their separate top of the line vehicles, and tell me I need my coil replaced; which is covered under warranty and scared me into schedule replacement for refrigeration leak and coil replacement along with the blower wheel cleaned, because, as the tech said look at what your breathing in (photo). Since the coil is covered under warranty I was quoted 4 hours labor, coils replacement and fan cleaned and refrigerant at 2400!! This is with my gold member discount since they have serviced my unit exclusively since day one. If it is a slow leak why would the coil need to be replaced? I have a ton of 1k plus expenses lately and am a widow with 1 income. The guy in Feb said it could wait until next year, but the guys today said that it could cause my compressor to blow! Yet my neighbors have their original trane from 30 yrs ago still working?? And it was very obvious that they had to return to the vehicle to come up with a price each time. It was obvious one lead sales guy was teaching a newer guy how to reel the money in for unnecessary repairs. Each time these baboons came out they found something to address that should have been caught by the previous tech. Don’t fall for their scare tactics Tony p needs to move back to the east coast where ripping someone off and is able to sleep at night is part of the norm.
