Does not stand by their warranty. Have an issue post close? They will just use your signed closing docs to claim they aren't responsible. Even when it's an item listed in their warranty book. Also the warranty book is a farce, the Arizona ROC actually has stricter standards than a lot of the coverage in it. For example the book will say they will repair a 1/4 crack, but the ROC for the same standard would require repair of a 1/8th crack. Or a 1 year warranty item is actually covered for 2 years by AZ ROC. So it seems more like a misdirection tactic. Our sales guy was great, we like our floor plan, I just didn't plan on making as many self repairs as I've had to. They rushed the house from the moment we closed on it, it didn't have to be this way.

My first time buying a home has been HORRIBLE! This company has been bad business since I paid my earnest deposit, perfect timing right? The finance dept is slow, Rude, And VERY incompetent. They parade that they are so “Special” and hard to get in with it I thought I would get 5 star treatment how they talk about themselves. Aside from that the home is horribly built. I e had contractors in and out since the day I moved in. And don’t bother putting in a ticket for anything with the building manager because he Will say he did but WONT! Wasted time and money is all I have been doing since closing. It’s absolutely heartbreaking because I expected so much more. If I could recommend anyone it would NOT be from this company or builder. I also WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING A INSPECTION BEFORE BUYING!!!! It will save you time and money FOR SURE… I’ll be contacting a lawyer soon to see what I am able to do since it’s been under 30 days. Stay away if possible.

The slowest builders ever. My home has been sitting framed for 2 months and getting rained on almost everyday. How will my home last with all the rotten wood? With the delays and the market changing we are not sure we will be able to afford it after it is completed. If they were able to complete it quicker before the market dropped and interest rates go up then we would be good but the lack of agency is making it hard for home owners to purchase homes. I would pull out but they have made so I would lose 10's of thousands of dollars. Whatever you do don't build with Richmond homes.
