  Last year Precision installed a new HVAC unit on our rental property. Today I called to schedule an HVAC service inspection. I asked if I could put a card on file and have our property management company, who interfaces with the tenant, call to schedule. I was told that in order for them to service a rental property, I have to physically be onsite for the inspection. I said I hadn't had to do so in the past, and she said it's a new policy because they were having a hard time getting ahold of property owners. I asked if the property management company could be there on my behalf and was told no. I asked what happens when a property owner is physically not able to travel there, what do they do? She told me based on my address I was close enough that I could drive there. There are other reasons beyond travel distance that prevent a property owner from being onsite. I understand businesses need to have processes in place, but this new policy is too rigid as a rental property owner, and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

  I had a great experience with this company from start to finish. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and I really appreciated that they called ahead to let me know they were on the way. They arrived promptly within the scheduled time window, which is always a big plus. The technician was neat, clean, and dressed professionally. He took the time to clearly explain what he would be doing during the tune-up, which I found very reassuring. Throughout the visit, his manner was polite, friendly, and professional. After completing the tune-up, he thoroughly explained the repairs that were needed and answered all my questions. Once I gave approval, he was able to complete the repairs right away—even though it was late in the day—which I really appreciated. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and felt confident in the quality of the work. Based on this experience, I decided to sign up for their maintenance plan. I would definitely recommend them to others.

  Chris the technician was great! He gets 5 stars!!! Finally got one that knew what he was doing. Very polite took time to explain and fixed the issue but it cost us, which I am not happy about. So we need to talk to the “powers that be” about pricing considering the circumstances of the water softener and RO system initial install and consequences of it. Had to buy a second tank for the RO system and a previously reset a toilet (Done by another technician) because of the water softener was not installed correctly causing a toilet backup and leakage. Depending on the outcome if the bar gets raised higher.

  My husband and I give Precision Air & Plumbing 5 stars! Exceptional customer service from our first call. Max came to our house checked our AC unit and mini split, walked my husband through everything he was checking and explained their maintenance program and duct cleaning services. We were impressed with the amount of services we could get when agreeing to having our ducts cleaned. The duct cleaning crew lead by Mitchell was professional, and did a great job protecting our furniture and dealing with our dogs. Our duct work looked brand new after their service. Great service, great employees and very reasonable prices. We highly recommend.

  OVERALL Summary: GREAT Emergency Answering Service: 3 Rating Inspection Technician: 4 Rating Installation Technician: 5 Rating Updated and full review: AC went out in the early AM hours of Easter. Tried to call emergency number to get a quote and was advised they would submit the request and have someone call me back to schedule something Sunday morning. After several hours with no follow up I'd called and was updated that I was misled and the appointment would be for Monday. After leaving my first review Precision did reach out and apologized and had somebody out that afternoon. Max was the technician that came out to inspect my unit. Max was very knowledgeable and presented me with all my options. It was determined that I would have to replace the whole unit and although I trusted him believed Max, his bedside manner could have been better, his tone at times unintentionally could have been condescending. I understood that it was Easter Sunday and appreciated that he was able to come out but some of his attitude rubbed my son wrong. My son didn't like the way that he was talking to me and seemed little dismissive, almost talking down, Especially when I mentioned that somebody else had come out before him to give me a quote. Personally, I didn't take it that way but understand where the perception of that could have been. I agree that Max could have had better bedside manners, empathized a little bit about the situation, and allowed need to ask questions with no judgment to help me better understand what was happening. When trying to understand the pricing Max was maybe a little aggressive indicating zero wiggle room to discuss and negotiate the pricing, or explaining what all the pricing was about. There was 1 hiccup when discussing pricing in which I did call him out for the way he was talking to me and eventually able to take a beat and discuss. Overall, Max is very helpful and knowledgeable and ultimately, I did agree to move forward with his recommendation. With Victor and the other gentleman with him we were able to arrange installation the following Tuesday. The two gentlemen installing the new unit we're very polite and courteous as they worked on my roof and needed to access the house throughout the day. They seem to work efficiently and kept me updated with the status and what steps they were on. I would like to have discussed pricing more and options but as the summer approaches and my pricing discussion I didn’t feel that I would have been heard, but again every was consistent with other offers, would have been nice to have a sincere discussion and understanding that coming up with funds to cover a brand new unit is not easy and shouldn’t have felt pressured to sign right away without allowing me a chance to review. Overall experience was great and I'm ultimately glad that I went with Precision. They took responsibility for the answering service in the middle of the night, Max generally a good guy, and the quick and efficient installation I would highly recommend. I did have another quote earlier that day in precision ultimately provided a consistent price as well as an accurate assessment of what all I needed.
