  Misdiagnosed my non working AC and took 625.00 said non fixable needs new unit. now refuses to make it right avoids all calls. Look elsewhere for your heating and cooling needs.they do not deserve your business

  Bob & Ed's was on a maintenance contract for two years for our home HVAC equipment. After the recent furnace inspection, their technician advised that our furnace might not make it through the winter because the heat exchanger was about to fail, so I had the furnace replaced. When the old furnace was removed, it was discovered the evaporator coils on the old furnace were completely stopped up (see photo). They were supposed to be inspected and cleaned so the equipment would operate efficiently, per the maintenance contract. Bob & Ed's acknowledged they messed up and refunded my money for the current year's contract. The technician from the company that installed the new furnace said the clogged coils contributed to the shortened life of the old furnace. Bob & Ed's disputed that. Lesson learned: Just because a Bob & Ed's technician tells you he's done the work, that's not necessarily so.

  Our realtor suggested we use this place to ensure our HVAC unit worked correctly and they "went ahead" and repaired the unit. The "repairs " cost 430.00 now a year later we are finding out the "repairs" were fake and they HVAC system we are using was phased out 10 years ago and there is no way to repair this system. This place basically lied and took our money and didn't fix our system at all. Do not use this place, you have been warned.

  My go-to for HVAC for more than 20 years. Extremely capable, same day service, fair prices, integrity--they do the job right and don't waste time. People I count on. Go with an annual contract and you get fall and spring inspections plus a 15% discount on any repairs.
