- LMLinda Mograbi4 days ago5.0My midtown LR home was built in 1961 with ‘Orangeburg’ water and sewer lines. The lines were failing from age and tree roots and the only fix was to replace them. I’m on a corner property and the orangeburg mains run under a concrete porch, stairs, wall, and driveway. I hired Contractor McRae Construction who worked with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Greater LR (BFP) to replace the mains. My experience with BFP was excellent. From start to finish, we were advised of the timeline and progress of the project. BFP’s crew completed their work in 2 days. They arrived on time, worked carefully and expertly, operated a huge backhoe right outside by porch door, filed the necessary permits and their part of the LR Water Mgmt Authority reimbursement application, and cordoned off the digging area by the street for safety. The cleanup was efficient and complete. BFP’s Justin Messenger worked on site managing the project and addressing any questions. They finished the job as promised in 2 days and left the property clean and ready for McRae Construction who expertly rebuilt the retaining wall, a French drain, stairs, porch and driveway. The job is done and I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Greater LR and McRae Construction for big projects! They were fairly priced (I had several estimates), professional, clean, reliable, and attentive to details. BF Plumbing and McRae Construction worked seamlessly together to complete the project. This was a 5 Star experience!

Would not recommend anyone use this plumber unless you want to waste $300.
