  I feel like some of the fees could have been better communicated. Like the "difficult access fee." I was charged a half quantity for that which wound up being $170 out of $400. I removed the access panel and made the path clear for easy removal and replacement. I wonder if I had supplied my own hot water heater if I would have saved money or just have a new charge labelled "customer provided own water heater" and have a half quantity of that for another $200. I feel like the pricing was a little high, but they have a "membership" that i signed up for. Over the years with repeat service i can see how this can be beneficial, i suppose. They cover air, plumbing and electric, so I will find out the value for myself, for sure. All in all, I am mostly satisfied with the service received so far, I just feel it was a little high.

  Please read this review in its entirety. I will start with our hot water heater replacement. Our previous hot water heater was leaking , so I called Paschal to come and take care of it for me. We had company coming in from Canada in two days. The gentleman told me two things, my outdoor pressure valve was not working properly because the pressure coming into the house was 130 psi when it should've been 60 to 65. agreed with that. Then when I got the price for the hot water heater along with the pressure relief valve replacement it was $4800. He told me the reason it was so expensive because I had a commercial hot water heater of 80 gallons, so I'm charged a commercial rate. Absolutely no difference in changing a 60 gallon hot water heater and an 80 gallon hot water heater. The only difference would be in the price. 60 gallon hot water heater at Lowe's is less than $800.Because I was under the gun I decided to go ahead and do it only to find out later that I was taken not to town but to another country on this job. (I found out from the Paschal rep who came to give us an estimate on our AC unit that after looking up the price to do the hot water heater, which I told him was quite ridiculous, he told me that to dig up the valve the labor charge was $1000.)It literally took two guys 10 minutes to dig around the box that the control valve was in. For that I was charged $1000. Next I had them come out to service my air conditioner which originally the service call was less than $100. Pretty standard. He told me that I needed to have my capacitor changed because it was not functioning and that would be $495. I declined that job as I have replaced this on my own when I lived in Florida. I went down to the local HVAC store in Hot Springs and I bought the capacitor for $20 and it took me 10 minutes to replace. Two months later, I called Pascal again because my air-conditioning unit was not cooling as it should. They cand out and told me I was low on free on. He said because it was R- 22 Freon (no longer available)It's very difficult to find. It's no longer used in newer units. He told me that I needed 3 1/2 pounds total. The 1st pound of Freon was $499, the next 2 pounds were $175 each. Fast forward to today, April 15,I found out from the gentleman who installed my NEW AC unit that he charges $125 a pound for R-22 FreonThat is absolutely highway robbery on Pascals part. That total call was $1000. Lastly, I called for an estimate on a new AC unit. I told the gentleman I was going to get three and giving the same information too all. The estimate I got from Pascal was $19,500. When I later phoned him and told him I thought that was quite outlandish he told said "I forgot to include the labor in your job so you're getting a good deal". Paschal was the highest of the four I got. And apparently it would've been a lot higher if he included the labor so he claims. Today April 15, 2026 I had my AC unit replaced 5 ton outdoor unit variable speed indoor unit complete package 10 years warranty on all the parts and one year warranty on the labor. That total bill was $13,500. I will say that unless I am in absolute Dire Straits Paschal will be my absolute last choice. They are probably one of the highest if not the highest charging AC heating plumbing company in Hot Springs and Little Rock, Arkansas. If you had a good experience with Paschal, it's probably because you have more money than you know what to do with. My experience has been nothing but overpriced, highway robbery. I will say the technicians who came did a good job, but I should NOT have to endure ridiculous over the top prices I will not recommend this company to anybody. I hope this helps.

  The company sent a individual to my house to check for leak $206 charge.He told me that I had a leak and he would have to replace 2 water lines and tear into wall to tie lines in $1380 charge says he will be back next day at 8:00 am. No phone or text from individual at 12:00 noon I told your company not to send anyone I was going to hire another plumbing company who showed up in 30 minutes and determined that was no leaks in water lines it was a rotten basket strainer and peat trap their cost was $538 Finding Paschal will rip you off very disconcerting

  Had them come out and redo all the venting in my home that included removing all the old and replacing with new pipe to my vents throughout the house and I’m very pleased with end result.. install was professional and very detail oriented meaning nothing was left untaped .. extremely happy with the customer service as the lead would not hesitate to take a couple minutes for absolutely all the questions I had including suggestions for the future to keep my system running smoothly .. overall I give five thumbs up and will definitely be doing more business with them in the future and highly recommend
