Custom Insulation & Supply Inc provides home insulation, crawl space encapsulation, spray foam insulation, home energy assessments, and radiant barrier services to the Hot Springs, AR and the surrounding areas.
Todd, Branden, and all the hard working guys at this company really showed up for me and helped me with both my home and my office insulation. They pay special attention to detail for all of their work and stay focused to completion without distractions. My home air quality is so much better now after having 3 types of mold discovered in my crawl space - the encapsulation was a must in order to be healthy. Now my crawl space is so clean and humidified that I could live down there if wanted to. The attic at my home and office both needed more insulation to help with my electric bill costs, so the team blew in a white fiberglass type foam up to 18 inches throughout to ensure I will be covered for any weather changes ahead.
Thank you guys !

Very professional and fast! I felt things were done quickly and done right, they cleaned out the mold and encapsulated the crawl space. Installed 2 sump pumps, 2 dehumidifiers, 4 circulating fans & reinstalled the electrical, it’s now climate controlled so the problem won’t happen again!

They were very knowledgeable and cleaned up after they were done. We could tell a huge difference in our house maintaining air temperature when they finished the work.
Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Insulation & Supply Inc
Is spray polyurethane insulation compliant with building codes?
Spray polyurethane insulation is compliant with building codes, specifically addressed in the Foam Plastic section. This section also outlines thermal barrier requirements to ensure safety and compliance. Whether you're considering insulation upgrades or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, Custom Insulation & Supply Inc is equipped to handle both types of projects.
When is the optimal stage in construction to apply spray polyurethane insulation?
The ideal time to install spray polyurethane insulation is after the installation of rough plumbing, electrical wiring, and HVAC ducts, but before interior walls are completed. However, if you're planning to seal the entire exterior shell, some areas may require insulation before ductwork installation. For expert advice on insulation timing or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, don't hesitate to contact Custom Insulation & Supply Inc.
Is it possible for a building owner to apply spray polyurethane foam insulation?
It's not practical for building owners to apply spray polyurethane insulation themselves. The process requires specialized equipment and trained professionals to ensure safe and effective installation. For expert insulation services or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, we recommend contacting Custom Insulation & Supply Inc for professional assistance.
Can building owners rent the equipment and install spray polyurethane foam themselves?
Unfortunately, spray polyurethane foam (SPF) equipment isn't available for rent due to the specialized training and expertise required for its use. Proper installation necessitates the skills of a certified professional to ensure safety and effectiveness. For expert insulation solutions or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, we recommend reaching out to Custom Insulation & Supply Inc for reliable assistance.
Is closed-cell spray foam suitable for installation in a crawl space that experiences infrequent flooding?
Closed-cell spray polyurethane foam (SPF) is indeed suitable for crawlspaces in flood-prone areas. FEMA has classified it as a Class 5 Flood Damage-Resistant material, which is the highest classification in their Flood Damage-Resistant Materials Technical Bulletin 2. This makes it an excellent choice for lower sections of walls and ceilings that may be affected by flooding. For more information on insulation options or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, please contact Custom Insulation & Supply Inc.
Is spray foam insulation a termite-resistant material suitable for crawl spaces?
Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) can be used in crawl spaces, but proper installation is crucial for termite inspection. When installing SPF on the underside of the floor, termite inspectors can still check the perimeter. For wall installations, it's important to leave a 6-inch inspection strip. If you have questions about spray foam installation or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, Custom Insulation & Supply Inc can provide expert guidance on potential pest-related concerns.
Won't sealing my building with spray polyurethane foam lead to indoor air quality problems?
Proper ventilation is key to maintaining good indoor air quality in a tightly sealed building. Many design professionals recommend sealing the structure thoroughly and providing ventilation through the HVAC system. Energy-efficient air exchangers are often incorporated to pre-condition incoming air using outgoing exhaust air. This approach allows for an energy-efficient exterior shell with high-performance spray foam insulation while maintaining controlled ventilation. For more information on building sealing or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, please contact Custom Insulation & Supply Inc.
When can spray foam be installed?
Spray foam insulation is typically installed after rough plumbing, electrical wiring, and HVAC ducts are in place, but before interior walls are completed in new construction. It can also be applied in older buildings to the inside of roofs and under floors post-construction. For concrete structures, concrete lifting and leveling can be a cost-effective alternative to slab replacement, potentially saving 50% to 80%. For insulation services or concrete lifting in Hot Springs Village, AR, Custom Insulation & Supply Inc is available to assist you.
Why use spray foam insulation in your building?
Spray foam insulation offers several benefits for your building: 1. Enhanced thermal efficiency, 2. Improved structural integrity, 3. Environmental friendliness, and 4.
