- DADavid AdamsOct 18, 20255.0Everyday I would see my windows which were in bad shape, most were missing screens, almost all were difficult or impossible to open, some were damaged by tenants when I rented the house out, and oh wish I had new windows. Well, Window World made my wishes come true. They replaced all the windows in a day and a half. The crew leader was superb, made sure all the windows were done right, total cleanup, couldn't even tell they were here - other than the new windows which look GREAT, both from the inside and outside. And last night, my wife who was opposed to the windows and had said NO NO NO NO, opened the ones in the bedroom instead of running the air conditioning . . . . Thank you Window World. - GLGary LindsaySep 25, 20255.0Our Pella windows were custom three-unit arched windows that had started to rot at the bottom of the sashes. Window World came up with replacement hurricane rated windows that look even better than the originals. Granted, it took about four months from signing the contract to installation. The technician double checked the measurements before ordering the build and I am glad he did. The installers were meticulous at removing the old windows and installing the new. And these two identical sets were on the second story of our house, so it wasn’t an easy task. I am very pleased with the quality of the windows and the way they look.

Very disappointed since a big reason we chose them over a small company was in hopes of having good extended customer service IF needed, warranty help etc. If you are in Baldwin County you may want to shop around more for someone who truly serves this area daily, weekly, whatever; not monthly or as they feel like it. Original post: Overall we are really pleased with our new windows. The sales folks, office staff & installers were all very friendly and even got our job done earlier than promised. My complaints would be that the caulking was very sloppy; and the customer support after the windows were installed has been sub par as 2 windows had issues (1- a manufacturing issue and 1- an installation issue) and they are yet to be resolved. The video is of the window in the closed & locked position; we were told that they would need to replace the sashes themselves since they had too much clearance; then told bumpers weren’t installed. Regardless — it’s not fixed yet.

Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
What type of warranty is available for my windows?

After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.
