VERY DISAPPOINTED IN RILEYS
my 75 year-old mother bought a brand new unit from Riley‘s less than three years ago and this season alone. She’s had to call them out at least four times for the same exact problem each time even though she purchased every warranty available they still charge around $295 per visit and the issue is not been resolved as I write this most recently on November 12 2025. Her heat went out again she called at 8:16 PM. The operator that answered the phone told her she was 16 minutes too late. they stop taking service calls at 8 o’clock so I guess if your heat is going to go out it needs to go out before eight she was told that no one could be paged so my elderly mother and her and her two year-old great grandson. Had to go the night without heat and as I write this, they’re still without heat. They were promised that somebody would call her and get her scheduled no call has been placed . a lady named tally ( the people that that work for the answering service have 0 compassion Tally actually hung up on me now i wasn’t the nicest but when it comes to your family i would think even Tally would ask the same questions i did)said that she had contacted a lady named Karen, but Karen probably wouldn’t respond because she never checks her messages. It’s unacceptable that a company selling a new unit failed to stand behind their work repeatedly charge a customer with a full warranty and then show no compassion. When the same issue keeps happening. I would not recommend Riley‘s heating and air to anyone who values reliability, integrity or customer care and especially if you have a child or an elderly parent. These people are not the ones you want to be trusted and helping them heat their homes
edit to this it’s now 1015 am still no call makes you wonder do they care at all

I called Riley Heating and Air to look at my daughter‘s heater that would not turn on this year. Within minutes, Thomas had already found the cause of the problem on the unit under the house. After fixing the initial problem , he could hear sizzling in the disconnect which has been melting for a while. He was able to also fix that for us in no time. He took pictures of everything and was very thorough and Knowledgeable in his job. I will specifically ask for him in the future for any repair needs we have. thank you, Thomas, we truly appreciate you and Riley Heating and Air.
