  Bathroom Renovation: The overall quote is fair, but the contractor is not diligent in listing the items to be done and the necessary supplies. They list the quantity, not the price - they are vague in all matters of money. They mistype and are not accurate with the quantities on the quotes. They are slow. They do not place the order for supplies when they should, and then try to make it like they are going out of their way to purchase like items. They do not show up to review the work that was done by subcontractors at the end of the day. They rely on photos taken by the workers. When work is finished, they will raise the bill, making up one excuse after another. They are a good example of why people will or need to record video appointments and work. They will not work with you on the final bill. They will get a foot-stomping attitude, then will increase your bill because of how dare you not recognize my kindness in not listing every 75-cent item. They then changed the original quote after a month of work removing key items and reduced the cost after full payment. Next, Sent what they called a final invoice which was thousands over the original agreement and walked off the job with the job incomplete. Update to your response: We didn't add anything to our (list of work to be done ), quote after work began. Every time we mentioned another aspect (to see when you had it on the schedule), you would claim we never discussed it before, even the next day. You never mentioned anything that exceeded the discussed quoted amount. You never gave us updates on the dollar amount over the quote. You measured the room to provide us with a quote in the first place, and I immediately mentioned the size of the shower, which remained unchanged. The remaining space was always going to be a built-in, and you acknowledged that yourself on the first day of work. If you know math, then you know the basics to give a $ amount. If, as you claim, it wasn't part of the original quote, you should have provided a specific amount before you even started building it, so we could approve the additional expense. You even mentioned in the quote a shower door - so you knew having a finished working shower with glass was on the list. The amount of glass is the only thing that changed before the work started. The only thing you did was pitch a fit that something wasn't mentioned before. You never said, "Here is how it will affect the cost." Is my bathroom finished? No work still needs to be done. You went back and changed the original quote, then gave us, as you put it, a final invoice. You broke the original contract.

  Kevin replaced some water damaged ceiling panels on our covered patio. He was prompt in providing an estimate, he showed up on time, completed the repairs in the estimated timeframe and did an excellent job at a very reasonable priced. We highly recommend Operation Handyman!

  I had several small jobs I did not want to burden my son with. He works hard and has his own house to maintain. I asked around if anyone knew a good, reliable handyman. So many are unprofessional, unreliable and lack integrity. I was given Kevin's name and when I researched his website, I was impressed. I will have to admit, I am not easily impressed. I thought, 'very impressive website,' but now let's meet the man. He came out to give me an estimate, on time. He was very professional, and I was again impressed. He responded in a very timely manner (again impressed), and had his quote detailed and moderately priced. He began work on the day he promised, and finished when he promised. He does good quality work, is reliable, is very intelligent, has suggestions to offer, and is respectful. If you have work to be done, he will give you a free estimate, arrive on time, give you a detailed estimate, follow up, etc., because he is ORGANIZED beyond words! He came out and completed my tasks just as he said. He will not only be respectful of you, he will respect your home as well. He will wear shoe covers when he enters your home and clean up and take the trash with him when he leaves! He replaced a door, installed extra shelving in my pantry, replaced by hot water dispenser, installed cabinets over my washer and dryer, and hung my big screen TV on the wall. You may be able to find someone less expensive, but they will also be less professional, less reliable, less experienced, and less respectful of your home. I highly recommend Kevin Kuntz, a man of integrity. To be honest, we don't find too many people these days with integrity, and do we want anything less in our home? P.S. For the record; I am not related to, a friend of, or have any other connection to Kevin Kuntz. I am strictly a satisfied client who will call on Kevin again whenever I have a job to do.
