I was pointed their way by a local when I needed a dump trailer, and everything went off without a hitch… well, except the trailer hitch, which worked perfectly. The first trailer’s battery wasn’t a deep cycle and didn’t hold charge for long, but I swapped in one of my own just to get the job done. When I brought it back, the crew at United Rentals didn’t just shrug and move on — they insisted on giving me a partial refund for the inconvenience. That kind of integrity is rare these days. They were already swapping the trailer battery for a new one when I left, so whoever rents it next — you’re set. The staff was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in keeping their gear running right. The incompetent guy on the phone keeps lying every time we call and saying that they will come remove it today. We’ve called multiple times, and somehow no one has come to pick it up. We’ve explained that we are not onsite so we can’t pick it up ourselves. We were billed for the removal and delivery. For some reason, no one from the branch wants to remove the equipment. The worst part is the guy we keep talking to is giving me an attitude and being nasty, when all we are asking for is a ETA on when the equipment is going to be picked up! Stop lying and telling us you’re going to remove the equipment that day when it’s been 2 weeks of you saying that and clearly no one is removing it. We called the removal in TWO weeks ago. How ridiculous. This branch is unbelievably slow and useless. How are you still in business???
