This place was a joke as I spent over $1500.00 to rent a backhoe for a week used it for 2 days blew a hydraulic hose upon calling on Wednesday afternoon after hours going to get a number for after hours help was transferred to their emergency line by pushing the number Indictated for help during after hours operations was not able to transfer when ask to enter another number on the keypad it just kept repeating the same message so the following day was 4th of july and the store was closed so when I called them in Friday mor ing to tell them of the issues I had had the previous 2 days was told by a very rude lady I should have called their after hours help line in which I had tried but she wasnt even trying to hear how their system wasnt working finally just ask that they send someone out to repair the equipment in which they did my husband had multiple drs appts. That day and was unable to operate the equipment on that day. We had other plans for early Saturday morning with the project we were working on that didnt involve the use of the equipment we had rented upon starting the equipment back up around 2 on Saturday afternoon discovered the leak had not been fixed and began again calling the after hours help line in which still did not work I co tuned to try to call the number to the location I which I rented the equipment from after an hour and a half of trying to contact the help line foe the location I rented from I finally called another location and was able to get someone on the line who was able to contact ao.eone with the location I rented from who returned my call and instead of them sending someone that afternoon because it was only an hour before they would bo longer send someone before the next day they would not send anyone that day so had to wait til Sunday morning when the repair man came out Sunday morning was still unable to properly repair the hydraulic line but just told us to make sure we kept it full of fluid and we could continue to use it for the rest of the day. 40 gals of hydraulic fluid later it still would not dig the dirt we needed dug so we just gave up. Was not offered any kind of discount on the rental or even an apology for the fact that we rented a machine for a week and I only got 2 days worth of work.out of it. Will never reccomend this place to anyone else or ever do business with them again. One would think a big place like this would have better customer service than this.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.

If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
