They help load and unload and give you a quick operating run down on pick-up. I've also purchased a Stihl blower from them as they are a full line dealer. They stock all the genuine Stihl parts and accessories as well. I was a bit sad to see them go from locally owned to a national chain, but hopefully it's not a bad thing.

Also the only rental place in town that has a damage waiver, if you want insurance coverage at any of the other dealerships and equipment rental places then you have to get your own insurance policy which is difficult unless you already own a piece of equipment with a company liability policy.
- MMMike MelbostadSep 28, 20221.0Poor customer service, I rented a man lift for project at home. When I picked it up, I asked the guy in the yard why the battery indicator lights showed batteries not fully charged. He said he had it plugged in long enough When I got home and tried to use it the batteries only had enough charge to lift it once and then stopped working. I couldn’t go down and I was about 20 feet in the air. I called them and was told to try to plug it in but I couldn’t get down They told me they would get a game plan and call me back.. They then told me I would have to bring it back to them. I couldn’t get the outriggers up to move it anywhere. After a while batteries recovered enough to get down and I called them to pick it up. I looked into the cells of the batteries and the plates were showing, not serviced or checked over. They offered a refund but I wasted half a day and project is still not done. There was no offer to try to make it right for wasting my gas and time. Would not recommend this place. Formerly APR and used them many times, they were great to work with and equipment was always maintained and worked as it should.

What do I need to rent a tool?
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. Call 800-667-9328 if you have any questions.
What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
What do I need to rent a tool from Sunbelt Rentals?
