  I specified a thicker D-1 course for the base and thicker pavement for the driving surface on our driveway. June 10, 2025, I got the driveway widened 4 feet more to allow for Travel Trailer parking. The work was done professionally and I have had no issues so far with curing or drying out of the new pavement. They did a professional job. Don't hesitate to give them a bid on your job.

  I would rate no stars if possible. I had $20,000 + of work done in July 2022. We did not drive on the driveway for several months to allow it time to cure. It never cured, and remained sticky and the surface would easily crumble. Once the weather was cooler you could drive on it and not damage the surface. Summer of 2023 the driveway surface raveled all the time and you had to be super careful not to turn the wheels or stop too suddenly as the surface would crumble away. I called Shorty's cell phone and the company number 6+ times, left messages, posted photos and asked for a call back on their FaceBook page and NEVER got a response. Same thing this summer - weather over 60 degrees causes the surface to ravel and crumble away, and below the stones that peel off the surface is shiny and looks wet. Its sticky to the touch. They have told me that they are too busy to abide by their warranty promise, and that they will eventually get to me. Jean in the office said that she would send me an email extending the warranty. I have not seen that email yet. I have contacted an attorney to seek equitable resolution.
