  The customer service is unacceptable. The person I spoke to was rude and acted like my septic freezing up was an inconvenience to her personally. She could not provide even a rough timeline for when they may be able to come out, only saying "when we have a truck available". I called Homestead after hanging up with Bigfoot, the lady who answered was very nice and she scheduled me for the next day. Edit after reply: I understand being busy and not knowing when I might be able to be helped, but that was not my main issue, nor did it have any bearing on my initial review. The manner in which I was spoken to was the unacceptable part. After waiting days for a phone call back, I called again and when the person who answered essentially said she did not have anything more accurate than "Yeah, it could be days" in terms of a timeline, I asked if you (Bigfoot) could recommend anyone who might be able to get out there sooner, since you are so busy at the moment. This is not an uncommon thing for businesses to do for people who are in urgent need of services that they are not able to help at that moment. To be honest, if I had been referred to any other business, I would have been very appreciative of it and would very likely have tried you again for future needs as that shows you actually care about people, and I can respect when businesses admit they are too busy to help. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. Me: "Is there anyone else you could recommend?" (My water has been off for days, I have no plumbing, please help me lol) First person customers speak to and essentially the representative for your company: "There's lots, look it up." I completely forgot about Google, my bad.

  Unfortunately I have frozen sewer line to septic once or twice a year,they always do their best to help.me out.

  After recently purchasing a home, I contacted Bigfoot Pumping & Thawing to request sewage pipe jetting service. The person who answered the phone asked for my address and immediately said they had issues in the past at that address and that it was on a “do not service” list. I was not given any opportunity to explain that I am the new homeowner. He refused service and abruptly hung up on me.

  (edited review from 1/26/26 because Google thought my first one was fake...) I called for a service inquiry and the receptionist seemed completely uninterested in assisting or booking me. The interaction lasted about 30 seconds before I moved on. I found another local company two minutes later that was actually ready to help. Disappointing first impression. This is part of a growing trend of lack of customer service in the area, and it needs to be called out.

  I can’t say enough good things about Bigfoot! They have thawed out my system twice this year. They have been timely, great at communicating and are by far the most reasonable pricing in town. Highly recommend the team.
